I just finished this lakorn today. It's so entertaining, lighthearted and romantic. It's the perfect drama series this holiday season. I think this got to be the best lakorn this year for me, why? The nang'ek is not a pushover and the pra'ek is very smart. It's quite a rare thing to see in a lakorn series. There were also a lot of pranang scenes that gave me feelings like I have butterflies in my stomach lol. I love the two leads chemistry.
The most special reason for me why I like this drama a lot is because of Paeng, she started as a very misunderstood bratty character who made every person in Artit's life hate her because of her misguided attitude when provoked. She changed for the better because she matured without any trace of her past self at all after many years. She is the one person in the drama whom I think deserves happiness because I see her growth as character. As a viewer I love her to bits and pieces. Best female character in a lakorn series this year.
P.S. I am going to watch this drama again today to see what I have missed out previously. Hehe

A very entertaining drama of 2023
I don't think I can explain how the story is deeply engrossing to me, but I will try.The central plot of the series focuses on the relationship dynamics between Xiao Yao and Cang Xuan (the two protagonists). They were inseparable when they were kids. They were each other's world. A series of misfortunes and sufferings befall their relationship, and they were separated for three centuries.
The FL has deep, imbedded scars from all the things that she experienced while she was separated from her "gege". She is not the same little girl that the ML used to know. Will that affect the kind of relationship they had before? As for the ML, I can see that he is now a good candidate to become a great emperor because he is really calculating, cunning, and ruthless. His relationship with her will probably be put to the test by the many decisions he needs to make. The question is what kind of path he would take—will he choose the right one or not?
As a viewer, I find it exciting to know what direction their story will go. Not only will the two protagonists have to make up for the lost time, but they will also have to deal with lots of other things. The biggest one will be the other male characters, who will play a vital part in the female lead's life. I really can't wait for everything to start unfolding.
Big kudos, by the way, to the whole cast and crew for making me feel enthralled by the world-building, storytelling, and acting from everyone! The actors and actresses play their respective characters extremely well. This drama is a depiction of a very popular novel by a well-known Chinese author. Mediocre acting from the cast will be heavily criticized by now from viewers, but that is not the case, and I hope they will be consistent about their portrayal all throughout the show.
I am enthralled with Lost You Forever and hope that I won't be let down as a viewer. I will get back to this review after I have finished watching everything. ✨

I deducted 1.5 points in my review. It doesn't seat well with me that the FL is having conflicting feelings between two male leads. I have read my fair share of books and mangas (The Legend of Basara, Saiunkoku Monogatari, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, etc) where "reversed-harem" is one of the themes, but those heroines never wavered despite whatever circumstance befall her and her love interest.

I brought back a.5 rating to this drama because of some realizations I had. The female lead (XY) wants the best man for her. A peaceful, happy life with a devoted partner is what she is looking for, and she always reminds us of that as viewers.

Season 1 finale: 9.5/10 score.
I think season 1 of this drama gives me a great feeling of love and longing. I want to know how they will conclude all of the unfinished conflicts in season 2 because I really like how everything is written according to how it was in the novel. I'm excited to see how they will conclude everything next season.

This is still one of my favorite lakorns that has revenge themed as the main plot. I do not mind that it became kind of draggy from the three episodes from the middle, I am invested so much in watching Khun Yai and Pin Anong romance develop as the story unfolds. Characters:
Khun Yai - as a male lead he still loves his better half despite seeing her in various suspicious activities. He always said he despises her but save her every time she is in a dangerous situation. He may be aggressive sometimes but he never forced the female lead even though he is hurt multiple times by her words and actions which is very rare when you watch a classic lakorn.
Pin - She is very kind and trusting to a fault but I cannot blame her for it because that's how she was brought up by her mother. I do not feel her character during the first part of the series but started to understand her during the middle part where, that's when she had a major character development towards the middle part until the ending. I like that she even instigated a plan with Khun Yai to thwart the main villain, deceiving her. Also, I've seen a worse FL than her who remains placid and doesn't contribute to anything but to cry every single time she is struggling.
Chemistry:
I love that there are real kisses in here, unlike some lakorns that I watched before. As a viewer, it is hard to be convinced about the passion of the main characters for each other if you see fake kisses between them.
Overall it is a very rewatchable lakorn for me. I have seen it four times now since the first time I have watched it in 2018. I still think this is the best Weir Sukollawat lakorn. It makes me a fan of him after this.
If you want a lakorn filled with action, romance, and lots of skinship, I recommend this one to you.

Done watching this lakorn again in two days. I really enjoyed it despite the too many crazy characters here but the chemistry between Kwan and Khun Mafia fully compensate for it. They made me squeal every romantic scenes they have together and made me shed a tear when they finally had their moment in the end at the beach when she kissed his tear stained face.Plus factor: I like how you see the character development of both the FL and ML in this drama as the story progresses. You don't see that often in Thai dramas where the characters remain stagnant in the way they deal with the hardships that come their way.
- There is also no secondary couple to drag the show so I did not fast-forwarded any scenes which is really a rare occurrence when I watch lakorns.
Anyhow, I am still waiting for another Weir and Preaw drama reunion after watching this in 2017 and still waiting 3 years after. They really have good chemistry together.

Beautiful drama but not for the faint-hearted
Battle of Changsha is a very excellent drama depicting the human sufferings and struggles for survival during wartime. It took me years before I watched this drama because I knew this kind of story was heavily tragic but I'm glad I took the chance. It is beautifully written and well-acted. My favorite characters are Xue Jun Shan and Mr. Wang.Rewatchability: this drama deserves its high Douban rating; however, I do not have the courage to watch it again because the real-life tragedy is too much for my mental health.
P.S. If your nation has never been invaded by the Japanese, you won't really understand how this affected me as a Filipino.

Chemistry level 100%
I just want to say that I regret not watching this drama as soon as it became available on streaming platforms. This one is really entertaining. From the first episode until the last. I am always a sucker for character development, and it's very rare in Lakorn to see one, which is why I can only name a few good dramas made in Thailand. This one is one of the few exceptions. Now let's talk about the chemistry level. I thought Mark Prin and Yaya's pairing was really great, but lo and behold, the Mario-Yaya pairing turned out to be explosive! I am always feeling giddy whenever they are on screen! They should've been paired more often because they are the reason I lost sleep for two days and was unfocused with work trying to finish their drama.
This drama is really good and a rare gem by Lakorn standards. It reminds me so much of what I feel whenever I watch a classic Thai drama. Lakorn dramas are a guilty pleasure of mine, and new lakorns are not that engaging anymore because pairings don't have chemistry (they are all visuals with no substance). That is why it has been a couple of years since I found Lakorn engaging again.
So, thank you, Bad Romance! I hope Yaya will be paired with Mario again!
