My favorite thing about this film may actually be the reactions of the other audience members when I went to see it... hordes of girls GASPING and WEEPING at all the right moments, not to mention the ahjussi sitting behind me who was belching the entire time. But in all seriousness, this is a good melodrama. Really strong performances from most most of the cast, and it looks GORGEOUS. The main villain is sort of cartoonish (think Snidely Whiplash) but I think that's OK in a film like this. I enjoyed it. I may even watch it again someday!
