Similar due to the mix of the Jianghu and palace concepts. Both are palace dramas with wuxia elements, although Who rules the World is more leaning towards wuxia with palace drama, while Story of Kunning palace is more palace drama with wuxia.


Both also have strong female leads who are very smart.

Both are palace dramas with love squares. 3 powerful men love one woman. A lot of twists and turns and a lot of angst. But very well-written story and great acting in my opinion.

Its mores of a martial universe story than a love story, but the plot is quite mature and interesting. The wolds in both the dramas are similar with sects and stuff
