Wol Ryung: Still Awesome

I laughed soo much during the first half of this episode! Even though Sung Joon's unrequited love for Yeo Wool is painful to watch, his reaction to her being out all night with KangChi was rather hilarious.

WolRyung's "villainous" return was epic. I can't wait to see what plans he has up his sleeve. I think the cliffhanger indicates his intention play with and test KangChi by using YeoWool in some way. Since the mystery woman has pretty much been confirmed as KangChi's mom, I can't wait to see her start to play a bigger role in the overall storyline. The reunion between her and WolRyung will be awesome, even though it will probably end badly.

My one problem with this episode is YeoWool's dad and his marriage plans for her. He can't honestly believe that after raising his daughter to be strong and independent, that she would ever allow herself to be forced into a marriage she doesn't want.

Phonebooth <3

*giggles* There were red phonebooths in the park where SunWo and MinYoung made out! I'm going to steadfastly believe that this was a reference to QIHM even if it wasn't ;)

The Bromance!

I loved this episode of VP2! With the victim being related to Min TaeYeon, the case was a lot more personal than usual. I love when that vamp shows emotions and he certainly did in this episode. Right from the beginning, the bromance between Detective Hwang and Prosecutor Min was stepped up. Their first scene had me grinning the whole way through. The stalking aspect was also curious (if a bit confusing) and legitimately creepy...group stalking, who knew?! Meanwhile, poor JungIn had to suffer through some jealousy inducing hugs. I love that their romance is continuing to grow while not taking over the show.

So, in summary, another fantastic episode. I just want to watch the whole season through, and having to wait week-to-week is driving me nuts!

Satisfying Conclusion

This drama was brilliant. The finale episode did a good job of not becoming boring and since all of the characters were so complex and well written I was glad we got to see an ending to all of their backstories! That being said, I was literally screaming at EunGi for not noticing that, um, MaRoo had been STABBED! I mean, geez, blind much?! Ack, whatever, all's well that ends well :)

I've come to the conclusion that MaRoo actually did have all of his memories but was choosing to act the amnesiac so that he and EunGi could have a fresh start. Since he gave her the rings he had bought when they were a couple, that's what I would assume anyways... that part was a bit confusing but however we choose to interpret the ending at least it was a happy one!!!

Ala Coffee Prince

Bunny gets the Coffee Prince-esque confession every girl dreams of and she RUNS AWAY?! Sheesh, if you don't want Kay, there are plenty of girls ready to step up and take your place! ;)

Anyways, this episode was awesome! Kay gets the girl (and a kiss!) and Bunny finally starts to realize his awesomeness...But of course Alex is waiting to keep the love triangle going next episode --___--

Story wise, this episode was weird (I mean, you can't just kidnap a dying woman from the hospital), but I've learned to take the weekly, lets-creepily-heal-our-customers-souls-through-the-magic-of-nail-art story lines with a grain (pound) of salt.

Love!!!

Can I just say, Park ShinHye, I am sooo happy you learned how to kiss! That was fantastic and (honestly) quite unexpected! The final running scene was somewhat out of place, but whatever, I really liked the comic-like boxes used to show everyone's conclusions, that was a great way to summarize all the storylines!

Tantalizing Instalment

I love how this show has evolved from the first season. Not only have the characters grown (especially in the case of Prosecutor Yoo- she managed to get even more BA and tough) but we've also gotten to know their backstories and personalities better.

It can be frustrating, as a viewer, to be so in the dark about the Vampire lore that surrounds this particular interpretation. For instance, why do Min's eyes turn blue when other vamp's eyes are blood red (I'd guess because he doesn't kill/drink-his-blood-from-live-victims but it could be debated)? However, as season two progresses I'm fairly certain we'll start to get more and more answers, especially as Min's maker becomes a greater focus of the story line.

Next weeks episode looks awesome...finally one of our characters goes undercover- that can always lead to *interesting* situations ;)

Great!!! ...but...

Obviously this episode was awesome (first kiss, yay!) ...but. If Park ShinHye doesn't improve her kissing scenes, she will permanently be labeled in my mind as the worst actress at kissing. I've given her leeway since YB was a bit high school and she's still a young actress, but, like, we know YSY can deliver some smoking hot kisses AND this is a cable drama...so. Right now it's fine b/c shock and unmovingness fits her character but if the rest of their kisses are like that...we will have some issues. Still a fantastic drama, of course, I'm just being picky. The storyline is great and all the actors are wonderful! Very good episode!
