Daily life love, breakup and craziness
Surprisingly, I would like to watch this drama again some day.
It's nothing special tho, nothing spectacular, no vicious scheming or ploting, no accident, no villains or character drived by evil intentions.
The drama is good enough on several dimension to be kind of self sufficient.
Just daily life, love and breakup, how to overcome (or to be overwelmed by) the bad moments, how feelings are difficult to deal with when it's not someone else having them...
Realistic breakups, good love story, lovely partners.
The production's good with no flat or boring moments, the drama is fun (it's totally a comedy even if we could have had as much fun with a little bit less alcohol...) and I'm totally convinced by the actors' performances.
2 OST are not leaving my mind. I woke up 2 days in a row to this beautiful sound on auto repeat in my head and I randomly hum it during the day...
A good enough ending even tho not totally satisfiying. Maybe it was rushed...
Side note : I like the fact that she redefined the meaning of a happy ending as an ending she choose even when she feels sadness from it.
However, I'm not totally ok with the drama perspective saying that love needs to be expressed out loud.
Expressing love while not showing it, is not love.
Sure, it's reassuring and it feels nice to hear those words but I think that without the little daily gestures that shows one's love, Love can't be Love.
The little gestures are the key of a lasting love in my opinion because Love is respect, acceptance, kindness, benevolence, compassion and clemency. Things that can't really be expressed with words.
So I didn't like forcing ML to say it out loud when she obviously saw and knew about all his little gestures for her, about his habits and way of love (from all the secrets they share about their previous relationships and breakups, she would have some cues, wouldn't she?).
While he accepted her as she is, she asked him to change because she needs it.
While saying she keeps falling in the same schema again and again but whatever, she's like that and she accept it, she forced him to say what he never said (or she wouldn't want a relationship with him).
I felt like maybe at some point it was proudness that stopped him before but not with her. With her, it feels more like just long ingrained fears. I would have loved if she accepted his way of love and, while just explaining and showing what she needs from him, let him some time. If he loves her, obviously this kind of man will eventually do it.
I would have been as pleased if not even more if he didn't confess with words as long as he genuinely shows it. Is the drama not being about loving someone by accepting and understanding them even through their flaws?
