If you can avoid watching it, do so....

Like another show I reviewed, this show has a very unrealistic premise. I personally found Jin-Joo raunchy, and found it quite unrealistic that So-Ra would continue to allow Jin-Joo to live with her...even after she was caught with one of the guys So-Ra had her eye on. In a realistic world, most women will not tolerate another woman who goes out of their way to take their man.

Many women will also not tolerate a messy roommate that steals their clothes and refuses to allow them to take a shower. However, the show continues to revolve around these unrealistic premises. In fact, they were so unrealistic, that I actually became angry at what I was watching. I did not find Jin-Joo interesting because I know women who are actually like that, and also know that not many would become friends with such a dysfunctional and selfish person. Rather, they would opt to either cut that person out of their lives or beat the hell out of them.

If you want to be ticked off about unrealistic plots, skank females that could never get away with the crap they do in this show, and people who are at work but never work, this is the show for you. However, if you want a romantic comedy that is more grounded and realistic, look over this one. I would suggest watching a show like "Because This Is My First Life" instead.

If you love comedy and happy endings, please watch this show!

I loved this show. Though I had to watch it more than once to better understand the story, I loved the comedic tone. It completely balanced with the scenes that were emotional and quite serious. This was especially necessary because the serial killer in the show was written in such a sadistic way.
I especially loved the romantic chemistry between Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Shik. Their chemistry made the story seem more real and fluid; it also helped to differentiate the reasons why Park Bo Young's character made the romantic choices she did throughout the series. It took me two viewings of the show to understand the love triangle, so if you have trouble I would suggest re-watching the show to better understand.
FYI: I loved the grandmother the best. Her role in the show was a small one but she was very memorable.

I want the male lead from season 1 back!

While I am glad that a second season of this show was created, I am not satisfied with the male lead in this season.
Kim Tae Hwan brought a different aura to this role...he was more serious and played more of a reflective role. He also had a different physique than the male lead in this season's show. Because Kim Tae Hwan's physique was more strikingly different, it brought a more regal feel to the show. Thus, I deeply missed Kim Tae Hwan in this season's show.

I liked how Esther Yu played the main character because her portrayal was almost identical to that of Janice Wu's. Both actresses were able to convey the female lead's spunky and optimistic personality, which is one of the best attributes of the character. Thus, I had no problem with Esther Yu's portrayal.

The new characters were interesting but they seemed to have been stuffed in the series to add a different take to season 2. They all did a pretty sound job in their roles (especially Li Ge Yang; who conveyed a spunky and almost naïve personality that was quite believable, mostly because he has such a youthful face); the only character I did not like was the Ye Mei Xiao character. In all honesty, I hate characters who resort to what comes off as stalking-like behavior...even when the other one is telling them to stop. It sends the wrong message, especially to young and impressionable people.

I have to admit that I am still watching it, but am yearning for Kim Tae Hwan's presence in this work. This is what makes me waver a bit but I will push through the chapters.
