Loved it!

I never tire of watching this, but don't enjoy the best friend's role in the last 1/3 of the series. I have a hard time with her character even at the beginning, knowing how she will be later. I often skip several episodes to keep sanity! Overall, I enjoy it so much I would like to add it to my DVD collection with English subtitles, but haven't been able to locate it. Any ideas? Is there an emotion that is not touched in this series? ! I also have a fascination with the architecture of Lin Meia's home and neighborhood. Start to finish, it is complex and well-done.

Borrowed Music

I am loving this series. It has everything that could be desired. The FL mother is frightening in her acting, but conveys the story. I am constantly disturbed that the music is taken from or at least the same as another favorite of mine, To Be With You. That series is very emotionally charged and the music is used to great advantage to increase the impact of the story. Finding that Fireworks... uses the same scores is jarring. My emotions are set to scenes and musical cues in TBWY. This makes for some confusion which is distracting, the music is beautiful, but definitely out of place in the overall world of drama only because it was used so recently in 2019 To Be with you. I wish the producers had had the confidence to come up with new music
for Fireworks.
