I am not into politics so my viewing point maybe different - (dirt in politics - human greed and selfishness is not new to me)
I focused on the main lead individualism- specifically the making of a worthy king. Started of being a humble boy - acknowledging the position of his older brother - and enjoying what the advantage of being the second son- rather than envious and greed to take his brother’s place. Him being honest and bold - not a genious but seeks wisdom. Him not wanting to be a King from a young age - because he was somome who gave up on trusting people apart from his family - but right after his bro died - he knew what he had to do. Someone who gets stronger during tough times - which I can relate so much. I agree that in the darkest time - the fools think they are of advantage - not knowing that it will actually make the rightious shine more brightly.
I can go on and on and on- There are just so many lessons to learn from Lee Jae Ha’s character alone. And seungi naturally shown the process. Bonuses are that of all the royale family memebers- and ofcourse kim hang ah.
I already love seungi prior watching this but still this made me love him even more. Such a talended man. I respect him as a singer - actor - and as a person.
Random comparisson:
(I watched this right after finishing”Healer” - ironically - even though I also like Ji Chang Wook plus he has better features than Lee Seung Gi - and even though i liked Healer which is - technically better - but both Seungi Gi and King2hearts - won in my heart - at the end of the day it is how the drama and the actors make you feel while and after watching.)

Who Are You: School 2015

It has an interesting plot, especially the romantic aspect of it. Never seen such close fight of male leads (so far). The theme seems to be common and the setting is predictable (school) - but it actually offered different flavors which was entertaining.
It is always fun to watch actors in uniforms.

Not fond of musical movies or dramas; so I did not expect to like this drama that much, but to my surprise I enjoyed every bits of it, It is now one of my favorite dramas.
Song Sam Dong, was lovable all throughout! Kim Soo Hyun is now one of my favorite actors.; I even think I like him best. I shed worthy tears many times, and have learned so much from this drama.
I am turning 30 this year, and this movie made me ask myself if I ever had a dream? I want to see how beautiful it is,too. I so love the scene when Sam dong made a solo performance, i think that's the very heart of the drama; kim Soo Hyun really pulled it off. I also love his duet with IU, watched it several times.
I wish there were more sweet Sam Dong -Hye Mi moments; and more of them at the ending.
But still this drama is 10/10! Kim Soo Hyun was just perfect for his role, no other actors would have done it better than him.

There was not a dull moment and the action scenes were good. And of course Gong Yoo is so manly and handsome all throughout. I just wished he had more lines and wished they have shown more scenes showing his soft side while with his wife.

I watched it because I got curious to see Kim Go Eun's acting in her first debut.
I think they are trying to show how a 70 yr old cans till fall in love regardless of time an age, but not for me, the only thing I have learned form the movie is for us women to be sensitive with our actions towards men regardless of how harmless them may seem to us, we should be modestly dressed and careful with our gestures, so that we won't provoke them men.
I have read reviews relating poetry to this movie, well I am no poet, writer nor a bookworm, but I love to read between the lines, I give life a deep thought, and try to see things differently, but I can not see any poetry nor love in this movie, they just used poetry and love as an excuse for a human's weakness.
As for the female character, i think she speaks of the problem with teenage girls who have low self esteem, they tend to adore who ever sees them otherwise. That's why it is important for parents to praise their children.
I am wondering if Kim Go Eun did not regret doing this film up until now. I mean, if it is something like the Hollywood film ; "The notebook" it is worth some sexy scenes (but still less than what was shown in A muse)
A Man and A Woman, was even more decent than this.

My Girlfriend is a Gumiho

I never thought id write a review about this drama which I attempted watching 7yrs ago but could not even convince myself to finish the first episode. Im guessing the reason was 1. The plot seems like childish 2. Was not attracted with the male lead. But why did I give it a 10? I only learned about Lee Seung Gi after watching A Korean Odyssey - I got attracted with his soothing aura that I now find him handsome (that I think im liking him better than PBG) so right after watching AKO I knew I had to watch MGIAG, I ended up liking it even better than AKO. Yes- the plot is not technically impressive not as accurate as fantasy novels like harry potter- but every movie has its own charm and flavor. And I have to say that Gumiho made my taste buds nomo nomo nomo nomo happy. How come? 1. I must say, impact of movies depend on which time of your life you watch them - by this time I really enjoy the characters innocence - vibe- positivity - that I wont notice any flaws. 2. For some reasons hearing Woonga’s voice seeing how positive his eyes are - reminds me of my youth when I was fearless and careless- It is refreshing to watch. 3. The chemistry of the main leads- none is over powering the other - they blended well. 4. The ending *spoiler*I like that it’s a happy ending. In this time of my life where I take a lot of pressure being an adult - it’s inspiring to see even from a movie how everything pays off well in the end regardless of all uncertainties- mistakes- waiting. Woonga’s eyes deserved to see what he did not gave up on believing to see - :)

As for park shin hye - i did not really find her beauty appealing and rather bland and typical - but she actually is gorgeous in this drama and acts well.
Lee jung suk (oh i have seen secret garden prior this but i skipped all of his scenese there so technically this is my first of him) on the other hand can easily catch attention bec of his looks and and smile - he is good at crying - cold hearted - playful and romantic scenes too - just lacking on eyes expression in showing sarcasm/mysterious in our language “angas” (ie- lee seung gi in hwayugi - when he looks scary in a good way)
Although ki Ha myeong family story is really a tragic - it didn’t make me cry - what made me shed tears is whenever Cho dal po adoptive family can’t hide how they care for him and how they adore him. The warmth in their house and the chemistry amongst them is soothing. (I love the younger gi ha myeong too - such a handsome boy)
The arguements were satisying til the end. The only thing off for me is weight between media and police/detectives - it is at times off - but i can say acceptable - so id let that slide.
Overall a good drama which reminds us the difference between lie and truth and that there is nothing in between.
I might not re watch this but I definetely recommend it!

The story makes me think how the world might be like if we have the mentality of a sinner who thinks he doesn't deserve anything so when somebody does him good - he feels humbled and grateful. It reminds me of how Jesus Christ died for our since while we were still sinners and how undeserving are we of his grace - but we received it anyway.
The story inspires me to be somebody who is capable and successful - Just as how KJH has means and fame, and knew exactly whom to share them with. How fulfilling is it to be able to help someone and eventually become family.
The story also makes me think how being in the unknown zone makes you discover things about yourself and how your character is built based on the responses you make with the help of people who believe in you.
*Spoiler*
And lastly - i think the reason why only the "DRUGIE" failed to learn his lesson - is a warning to viewers to never take drugs because it controls your brain - which prevents people and even yourself in helping you out.

One thing I’ve learned watching this is - “having atleast ONE PERSON to believe you and share genuine relationship can make a HUGE impact in one’s life. It reminds me to be kind and inspires me to reveal the good in people which sometimes they fail to realize themselves.
It reminds me also of how important friendship made in highschool is- how we depend on each other and how the fun in school makes life less difficult.
Shout out to these young actors convincing acting- you can see how they value true talent in Korea TV industry. (Which is far from how the actors their age in my country act - hehe)

It’s my second time watching Ji Sub in a drama after Im Sorry I love you which I’ve watched many years ago. I always knew he’s a good actor and can be good looking and that he must have aged. But didnt realize he can be this sexy and good looking still.
I enjoyed seeing the charcters. Not an epic drama but definetly a good watch!
