Meh...

I've heard how YYY has big crackhead energy but that it also has a lot of heart and explores deep themes, so I had to watch it!

It started off strong! It was different. I liked it! Unfortunately, the crackhead energy of the tenants' antics didn't translate to its central story. The series quickly became aimless and predictable though barely entertaining enough to keep my attention. The only story there really is is the budding relationship between Nott and Pun, which isn't shown often and thus, feels rushed (though it is just 6 episodes so it's understandable). I was also so bored by their relationship by the end and was itching for the last episode to be done. But rather the show concentrates on ridiculous subplots that don't make any sense and aren't funny (at times). A simple standard story about roommates falling in love each other. It does bring up some important truths though like being honest and the importance of communication.

Pretty cool seeing Lay again after My Engineer. And I also liked how they worshiped Why R U in this series. I wonder if there's a connection between the two shows. Same production company maybe?

To be honest, YYY is probably my least favourite BL series at the moment...
