um..
just watch it if you want to see a policeman and a doctor have the most awkward sexual tension. you will feel like a ping pong ball during an olympic level ping pong match. .. ur head will hurt. you might trip and fall after watching a few episodes from the sheer mental exhaustion.anyways. yuzhi is the best i give him a big kiss on the forehead. mwahhhhh! my dear doctor <3 we love you yuzhi! i’m just trying to reach the 500 word limit rn. jin dacheng was a freak btw you will either hate him or you will HATE him but regardless he will curse your mind. everyone sucks ass but at the same time they don’t. i hated yu tongchen’s gay ass. i loved fu cheng’s gay ass. i went in with nothing and left with nothing.

Started off strong, became a bit of a mess afterwards.
•I really enjoyed this show for the first half or so..it was very interesting up until episode 30 or so, where i realized this show was going to turn into a MESS. the story began to be nonsense, and it was a constant back and forth.•I really loved the characters, but the main characters bothered me a lot. Their relationship is so toxic, there is constant misunderstandings between them, and it felt like I was attending a couple’s therapy session whenever they were on screen. Also, I just couldn’t sense any chemistry between Fu Rong and Prince Su... idk. They are interesting, at least ^_^
•I LOVE Prince An but his actions/psychopathy/literal downfall thanks to his obsession with Fu Rong made me sooooo uncomfortable like what the fuck is wrong with you. Just be gay.
•I am in love with Fu Xuan she was my fave shes so beautiful and smart and lovely omggg. I’m so happy for her and Wu Baiqi they’re too cute and I honestly enjoyed their “romantic” scenes way more than Prince Su and Fu Rong.
•Honestly all the side characters rock. Xu Jia and Mr. Ge are definitely gay for eachother. I loved those two so much <3 I also loved A’Xiang and A’Yuan, and I wish we had more closure on A’Yuan and Prince An’s relationship. I thought it was super interesting... Also A’Xiang and Wen Xing <3 I love them <3
•One character I disliked but grew to LOVE was Cui Wan and her final arc really made me so sad idk why. I felt so sorry for her and that marriage but I’m happy that it ended up good in the end and I hope she’s doing alright. She deserves so much happiness (fuck you prince su you heartless bitch)
•I wish the last episode ended 25 mins in. Fu Rong should’ve died but instead they fucking pulled a frankstein on us.
•The OST is literally AMAZING honestly at this point i’ll reccomend watching this show for the goddamn OST, it was beautiful. So memorable and lovely like wow. Speaking of which, they went HARD on this show the production quality is LEGITTTT.
I will still reccomend this show because there’s a god damn reason I finished 40 episodes in less than 2 weeks. It was definitely entertaining for my little monkey brain.

ming xia makes me wish i was asexual aromantic
if you want to feel like your having a conversation with your dad just watch this show.qing cheng turned me into a raging misogynist. no matter what she did or said it was just ridiclous she literaly needs professional help. she had two men to choose from: dumbo ears bitch whose an incompetent policeman and an even more incompetent male who has never been talked down upon in his entire life, and a handsome, sexy muslim demon who is chivalrous, kind, patient, understanding, and sweet. and guess who she chose. the mf with the bent ears. he doesn’t even know what hats fit his ugly ass head hes that useless. his confidence is so high and staggering that he doesn’t even realize what’s at fault. ming xia needs to choke on some yakult.
qing cheng’s sister is a suicidal freak and jiang whatever her name is was literally tom and qing cheng was jerry. and no matter what even if jerry (qing cheng) did something stupid, JIANG would face the repercussion. she should have just married tom pierce and lived a good life but instead that guy got thrown into a lake and drowned to death. fuck you all.
the only reason why i would reccomend this show if you have a good life and you want to see what it’s like to live a bad one. also, zhu zanjin and merxat yalkun are clearly the stars of the show. they were the diamonds in the rough, the only correct people in a world full of liars and criminals. the doves in a cage full of crows. they made me realize that, no matter how bad something may be....if you look hard enough, search long enough, you can find a light. and once you do, hold that light close. don’t let it go.
they also ripped off of the howl’s moving castle song.
