Incomplete Disappointment
The only acting I liked was by the main leads and the girl pretending to be a boy in the group. The ML having a chip in his brain which has to be changed every ten years and when that happens his memories will be wiped. There wasn’t much backstory to his past except for very few flashbacks and a brief couple minutes explaining him and his father got in an accident and if the child version of ML didn’t have surgery he won’t have much mobility but with surgery would require a chip for him to function but will wipe his memories. We see tech beyond our times so there’s not much sense for it in story. Then you got an unfinished story since this premiered in 2018. No updates about finishing or scraping the drama. Being left on a 3 year cliffhanger is very irritating. Music is very mediocre in the drama and the story is disorganized. The only thing that would keep me going is to find out the managers involvement with the boy member who was hit by the car in the first episode, see the revenge and see what happens when the FL’s friend who is pretending to be the one the ML likes since his memory is wiped. We’re left with he made a tape attempting explain things. Will this drama ever be completed? I would recommend NOT to watch this until there is a confirmed part 3.Cet avis était-il utile?
Way Better
The Chinese version definitely took more time with the story and utilized characters compared to the Korean version Clean With Passion For Now. Shen Yu isn’t my favorite actress but this role was done pretty well compared to when she first started acting. She’s coming along and I still watch her dramas bc of her progress Jasper was fantastic acting. Is the drama perfect no, but would I recommend it yes. I would recommend this version and rewatch it once in awhile compared to the other train wreck.Cet avis était-il utile?

Surprising Great
I was surprised when China took on the re-make of this Drama. I literally watched all the versions out there. Surprisingly in my opinion this was the best version out of all of them. One can argue that the male leads behavior exhibits violence, anger and cruelty. But have in mind, this is just one of the most common traits in behavior in manga's and dramas. It's one of those common school dramas. In this one it it starts off with your happy go lucky main girl who starts college with her friends. She ends up have a bad first meeting with the male lead and lands herself out of favor with the male lead of the F4. She ends up with common the red card notice. The male lead exhibits his cruel bullying behavior, especially towards the main girl who challenges him. But in this version, it's more watered down compared to the Korean and Japanese version. She later on shows him that she's not going to take his crap and high kicks his face which triggers the 'oh she's different and interesting.' Proceeds to be in denial at first but realizes he actually likes her. One of the common manga storylines of a love hate relationship. Every version has their own way of telling the story, but it was refreshing that instead of going with the cheesy high school start, they went with college, a more appropriate setting for the mature like content. For me it helped with all the adult themes that the F4 were exhibiting with the drinking, women, etc. Also in this version, the students were different, just more indifferent and less toxic which was more logical . Overall the the characters fit their age, progressively matures and have good endings. A couple things for me to pick on was the picking of the same few songs going on over and over for 50 episodes. A few sung by the male cast. They were good, but used too much. There could have been more neutral music for the mood direction of parts. Another is I wish the main girl had a bit more justice like the Japanese version 'Hana Yori Dango.' Overall, this drama is my favorite version. I'm sure many can disagree or might enjoy it, but that's why we all have our own opinions of favorites. I hope you take a chance to watch and judge it for yourself and if you don't like it, that's fine. Enjoy.Cet avis était-il utile?

Cinematic and Mesmerizing Plot
From what I’ve seen so far the FL can come off toxic but I believe the demons she’s fighting with emotionally bc of her past is the a major reason. Does it excuse her behavior, no, but it's understandable. The drama so far has touched basis in different aspects of autism, personality disorders and other mental disorders. It’s also nice to see there’s romance, but it’s not the main focus. It looks like a drama that focuses on mental illness and the healing aspects that will help bring awareness behind them. The main characters look to have different but similar pains in their childhoods and from what I see they’ll help heal each other’s wounds and grow to love each other. I have also heard some may view this drama a bit toxic or lack of plot depth. But from what I’ve seen so far I haven’t seen much to complain about. But what drama is perfect? For me, I feel this is a drama I’ll watch until the end, re-watch or even buy for my fav drama collection. This review is my opinion of course. To those watching, give it a chance at least. If it’s not for you, that’s fine. Happy drama hunting to all.Cet avis était-il utile?

I like it, But...
I haven't watched the entire series, but I've watched a good 70% of it. I like the concept of the game of Go, but the execution could be a bit better. The commenting helps but then they add warrior-like action sequences which I am guessing is to show the inner player's struggles for the game. Even though it's cool and entertaining, it's very awkward to just add. Maybe break down how Go is played because when they try to explain moves even I'm lost. Acting-wise, I have no problem with the method of acting. Portraying what was written was done well. Writing-wise could have been a lot better for the story concept about the interpretation of GO. I'm not fancy in breaking down what's right or wrong. But mostly I think it's concept portrayal and execution into the story. Some may call it cliche. But when it comes to drama's that does matter to me, it's the execution of the story. Another thing that bothered me was the lack of HIPPA and business ethics. Like when Yao Ke went to the psychologist with the same theoretical sickness and the psychologist practically exposed he had similar patient and treatment method. It's still a violation of privacy. Then the cooking show, if it was real life, they wouldn't allow family members to host or even participate in the competition because it can implicate connections. I notice many dramas that have doctors, business or mental health leads, I found so many violations in ethics and privacy. I like the drama to recommend it? Yes. Overall, I've been enjoying it enough to watch it to forgive some things. Would I re-watch it? I'd say once in a while. It's not a drama I would buy for my collection, but a drama I would watch once in a while. Give it a chance, but if you feel you're not feeling the vibe, find another drama. Overall a 7/10. It doesn't deserve a super low rating but a mid-level rating in my opinion because it's decent in my book to pass. Happy drama watching and hunting.Cet avis était-il utile?
