Such a huge waste of time...
There are so many things about this I didn’t like. It would probably shorter if I listed things I liked about it but nothing comes to mind. I felt there might have been a good story somewhere in the series, but it seems like most of it got left on the cutting room floor. Instead we have marginal acting at best, horrible editing and sound quality. The film itself seemed to vary in quality. I found myself not really caring about any of the characters or their motivations. I was rooting for Zach and Wolf and it seems like that nigh’ expectations happened in the last episode, but once again, the scenes seemed to be taken out of context. This felt like the director was trying to make a bold, artistic statement that ended up looking like a student project. I can’t think of one thing I liked about it, unless you count watching someone shoving food into her mouth for half an episode. Was that supposed to be funny? Because the tone seemed out of place in the series. Watch Gameboys or Hello Stranger for something uplifting and fun. Don’t waste your time on this.Cet avis était-il utile?

This does not disappoint.
I thought it was great. I liked the character development and interactions with each other. There was equal parts drama and pure fun. And the drama felt real, not silly like many of the BL shows. The crying scenes were so good with Cai and Gav, and of course the sex scene. I liked the Hello, Stranger movie, but it had most of the typical tropes and predictable ending. This movie did not. The drama felt natural and they actually talked about things and made rationale decisions. Nothing about it felt forced or cheesy. The secondary couple were great too. The ending was sad but cute. And knowing there will be a second season made me happy.Cet avis était-il utile?
This was SO good!!!!
I had no idea what to expect with this. I discovered it by watching Gameboys and it being a recommendation, so I went in blind. It was one of the best bay shows I've seen in ages. I could relate to every experience. This was actual gays characters, not your typical BL. Everything about this rang true. I've had friends like every character in the series and I liked that it didn't revolve around one storyline. There was a common thread, but we've all been there. Meeting friends and then getting introduced to a whole new circle of friends. My only very minor complaint was with the main character. He was all over the place with how he behaved and I had no idea what his motivation really was. With that said, I liked every character in it and everything about them. I wish this had more episodes though. I would loved it if they had a follow up, just to see where these characters had progressed. I liked so much about this and was almost tempted to rewatch it the next day. I want my partner to watch it so I am waiting to watch it with him hopefully soon.Cet avis était-il utile?
Words cannot express how bad this series was.
This show started out really cringe, and just got progressively worse. Whatever the writers had originally planned for the show obviously got tossed aside and abandoned, like several of the “main” characters just disappearing. A “True to Life Story”. Whose life story? Whoever it is, I feel sorry for them. I felt sorry for the actors as they were just doing what they were told. I feel sorry for the people who stuck it out to the end even when the directors obviously had given up on the series. There was no real resolution for any of the characters. Again, I can’t stress enough how bad this show was. I would rate this as a zero if I could, but will give it a one.Cet avis était-il utile?

From the trailer this looked like it had every bad BL Cliche, I was totally wrong
First, I thought the acting was great by everyone. I was always team Shinwoo, so happy about that. There was a lot of drama explored that you don't see in many BLs shows in general. There was issues with social awkwardness, teen hormones. It felt very real, all the situations. And there wasn't girlfriend trouble (well, maybe one, but she reformed). She just accepted the situation and moved on like an adult would. I don't really think she or Duan loved each other at all. I think it was more brother/sister love. It's hard for me to think of any scene in the series that made me cringe. I liked everything about it. I felt like I know where the story would end, but the journey was worth it.Cet avis était-il utile?
Feels more than bromance
I have not read the book, but I’m guessing this was originally written as a gay or BL story. There is so much homoeroticism and I felt like they were more than friends. I know they probably had to censor that out of the story which is too bad. I like it but it feels pretty obvious they probably had more than just a bromance. The acting is good and the budget looks good. My only real complaintS are the music, which didn’t work with the show, and the fact that it feels censored. I’m just going to keep typing because it says I need 500 characters in the review, which is stupid.Cet avis était-il utile?
