Enthralling Episode!

An interesting way to show how individuals would keep suffering until they get a push to fight against their word, worries and ailments. It has never been easy to fight against the oppression as experiencing it on a daily basis make us succumb to it slowly. What we really need to do is find that inner strength to eliminate those negative emotions that we surround ourselves in first then act upon the external force causing it.Weol Joo is our inner strength that has been charismatically been portrayed in this series. She is confident, crazy, enraged, badass and extremely strong. These are some qualities we all hold inside us which are suppose to come to our defence in a dire situation.I love how tactfully the first episode is balanced with humour and drama around serious topics such as gossip-mongering, death, sexual harassment at the workplace, bullying, unfair treatment, and belittling people based on their socio-economic position. The team of Weol Joo and Chief Gwi's is the saviour that brings hope in those who are in despair. Don't we all at times wish for a hero? Someone or something to listen to us?It's a treat to watch.

The Expected

The idea behind giving this score on the first episode is that there was no hidden twist in it. Things went as they were expected. The trailer gave it off from the get-go but it was exciting nonetheless. Jennie is looking ravishing and "killing" it in her role. ;-)In the trailer, we know that Kim x Way ship is the prime. However, the potential ships such as Kim/Pan x Khet and Kim/Pan x Soda is exciting too. Why? there are so many layers to the secondary ship!Kim/Pan x Khet: On the surface, it's an incest gay love but the fact that Khet could see past Kim's appearance and feel Pan is not just romantic but spiritually uplifting. You may think, that is just Khet being straight in a way, but it's more in the realm of Pansexuality.Kim/Pan x Soda: On the surface, Soda's affection seems straight towards P'Kim but in actuality, she is seeing past Ki's appearance and feeling Pan, which is similar to Khet but that's where we tend to feel lesbian and omnisexuality, meaning that Soda identifies Kim being gay for Way but doesn't care anyway because she knows it's Pan and she holds feelings for her.Kim x Way: The classic of gay and bisexual relationship. Because Kim although showed interest in Pan slightly in episode 1 but so far he isn't with someone so we still don't know whether he would really choose Way if he had a chance. Way being romantically involved with Pingping is going to get attracted towards Kim which gives off the feeling that he is a bisexual male. That boils down to one thing - What is Pan's sexuality? She is a shipper in the series but what about her own love life? Who would she choose when it's time to go back to her own body? Hmm.. so many questions. I'm excited to know what unfolds for the series that replaced 2gether the series. I have high hopes.

Got Butterflies In My Stomach

The chemistry is evident from the get-go. The lead male actors look perfect for their characters. The scenes where they get jealous of each other is my favourite! I'm so looking forward to the next episode.

I want it all

When we can't run away from what we are when we can't feel the disappointment of our loved ones when we can't let go of a new amuse - we tend to want it all! So Jun said yes to Miura's confession. What I am really interested in is finding out this Mr Fareheit because I have a suspicion that it's his friend Ryouhei.

An Unusual Start

One thing I like about Japanese dramas is the first episode isn't boring at all. I was blown away with the first scene, I would like to keep it a secret but I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed. The interaction between the main leads is heartwarming as they try to understand each other standing in their own grounds. The first episode shows the insecurities of both a gay man and a fujoshi. There is also an attempt to show how reality and fantasy are different from each other in BL. That there is a possibility that, those fujoshi who enjoy the romance between men in a manga/anime could disgust when happen to meet one. That they may think they understand and not judge the relationship between two men and seldom create imaginary couples in their head but could they really meet the fact that there are real gay men around them who keep a low profile. Also, how the world perceives both parties - a gay relationship and fujoshi. At times, both seem non-existent because people often have the tendency to simplify the world for their own understanding.
