So this movie is a sequel to the first L-DK from 2014 but it recasted all the characters and It takes place a little time after the first movie takes place. I really liked this one, BUT it does feel so disconnected from the first movie, while also making it that if you don't watch it, you miss so much information because the flashbacks are so small and don't make justice to the first movie. Regardless I think that I liked the new L-DK better. The pace didn't feel Rushed and Shusei was not playing with the FL's feelings. He actually really was in love with her.

Characters
I think my problem is that, while they just recasted the characters and left the story the same, it doesn't feel like they are the same characters. ML had a bigger presence in the first movie, being a person that seemed almost like a troublemaker, while in the new one he feels like a quiet straightface guy, to the point that, the SML reminded me more of the original Shusei. Mone Kamishiraishi reminds me also of the Aoi from the first 10 mins of the original movie. More outgoing and fun. She also got to reenact those amazing few minutes of the first movie too, so I believed she is Aoi.
