I'll start off by talking about the title of this review. Just because I labeled it as cliche, don't get your hopes down. It may be an average 'something happens to person A's accommodations so they have to live with person B! Omo!' drama, but in my opinion, that doesn't redact from any of the good points of this drama, and damn, there are a lot.
First of all, the acting and cast. One big point I would like to make is how effortlessly they switched from being really awkward in the first few episodes, to on decent terms in the middle, and good friends around the end. It felt really natural, and the way they could develop from awkward to near best friends in 15 episodes was one of the best points of the drama for me.
I thought they all acted really well, and knew how to make the majority of the scenes light hearted and funny, but could switch seamlessly to a more somber mood when one of the few scenes requiring that mood came up. The 2 male leads had really good chemistry, and it might be just my weird tastes, but I personally really liked the height difference between them. It was somehow endearing. Damn, that sounds weird. The female lead was also talented and pretty, and the 3 of them acted side by side very well. There was also a surprise actor who was refreshing to see. I won't spoil who s/he is, but if you like K-pop, you'll be pleased.
Although most of the music was instrumental and not very memorable, one song that the 2 main leads sing near the end that was meant to be funny but actually struck me as sad was very good.
Since most people might see this drama as your everyday run of the mill student life drama, I doubt many people will watch it again. But just because it doesn't have anything extraordinary about it, doesn't mean it's not extremely enjoyable to watch first time.
One thing I disliked about this drama was the weak love triangle that kind of arose during the end. Although, now that I think about it, it was probably necessary to drive the plot forward and create more drama, but my stone cold heart doesn't really like romantic subplots.
Overall, this drama is a very good one, and very worthy of your time. What's more, Dingo have compiled the 5-6 minute long episodes into one marathon video so if you're looking for something to binge watch late at night, this drama is perfect for you.
