A Nice Easy Watch
Mute is a short drama that will take about an hour of your time. I found the drama charming and I liked the leads. Though the limited time limits the development of the leads, I felt it was enough to properly tell the story. The story itself is both original and derivative. What I mean by that, the premise itself is original but how it was executed will seemed similar to other Kdramas. If you are looking for a short drama to enjoy, I recommend this one. Flawed but so entertaining
I’ve been watching this drama since September 2021 and it’s finally come to a conclusion. This drama in many ways feels more a kin to dramas made ten to fifteen years ago. There’s a lot of tropes and a lot of angst. I really enjoyed this drama. It’s very flawed and there a few characters I hate with a passion but on the other extreme there’s characters that I adore and I’m sad that I won’t get to see them each week anymore. Also the payoffs in this drama are well done and I’m very satisfied with the ending. My mom who lives in a different state from myself, we would call each other each weekend to discuss our frustrations and favorite moments. It was a great bonding experience. I don’t think this drama is for everyone but if you don’t mind tropes, check it out because it has a lot of heart as well.8/10

A Pleasant Surprise
I was hesitant to watch this drama because it had so many negative reviews. To my surprise I found it charming and very engaging. The strength of this drama is the two leads, Namgoong Min and Minah. They both did well playing quirky yet loveable characters. I also appreciated that their romance was a slow burn and it developed naturally. (Though for those only watching for the kissing may be disappointed). This drama may not be the most original and it does follow many of the standard tropes, but it is one of the more charming dramas I have watched in a long time.Cet avis était-il utile?

I would classify this drama as an action / adventure historical kdrama. If you are looking for a Saguek with deep themes and realistic characters, this isn't it. This is drama that just meant to enjoy and have fun with. It's like a Marvel movie, not everything is realistic but it's definitely a ride.
What I loved:
Yoo Seung Ho- He's incredible actor and perfect fit for the role.
The Story: It's a fun ride that kept me on the edge of my seat.
What I didn't love:
Unfortunately, Kim Myung Soo (L) was miscast in his role. I've seen him in other dramas, and I have enjoyed him. I did not like him in this role at all.
