First of all, this dorama is based on an American series under the same title, and has a Korean adaptation as well, but I haven't watched neither of them. That said, I'll go straight to the point.

Story. The story is... Okay. I don't think the cases were very original, but the underlying main plot concerning the main protagonists was interesting. The cast is not too original either, but the dorama does make a decent job at getting you attached to them if you stick around long enough. I'd say this series' strongest point is Kai and Suzuki's relationship, how their interactions as a mentor-pupil eventually lead to their growth (well, mostly Suzuki). Other than that, characters are rather flat and the romance sub-plots are very poorly developed, to the point it feels forced.

Acting & music. It felt pretty awkward and forced most of the time, although the cringy lines might have a lot to do with that. As for the music, it was extremely bland, so much so it sometimes detracted to the tension the scene was trying to build. If I had to describe it, it'd be elevator music. If you've watched it, you know what I'm talking about.

Enjoyment & rewatch value. Don't get me wrong, it's not like it can't be an enjoyable watch, despite it being a technically very mediocre dorama. It can be a fun thing to watch ironically with a friend, or try to count the times romantic tension is built between Kai and Suzuki, despite the writers' efforts to insert hetero romance. It can be fun to watch it again after a long while with the same mindset. But if you're expecting a serious lawyer series, this is not for you.
