Best character growth BL Series. Much more than just a BL.

A slow burner, coming of age highschool first love story that's not just about the romance, it's about the whole journey and the characters development.

There is so much to unpack about each character, all of them are relatable, have something to teach, and grow troughout the series. By the end of the series you're so acquainted with them, and know enough about their backstory that it feels like they're your long time friends, so the end game feels very rewarding and the pairing makes 100% sense.

There's a well written love triangle, where the pairings make total sense because the MC isn't a just shallow pretty boy but a special weird cinammon roll who's willing to grow out of his edgy loner phase, his personality matches the two other characters that fell for him. Still the rivals play respectfully and fair, they're all pleasant to be around softies.

There are a lot of sweet moments to cherish and rewatch but it's not just pure fluff, things got real mid-series. The show made a good job working with uncomfortalbe themes such as homophobia without going full dark.

Excellent usage of OST that matches the characters and the story. Two BOPs that went straight to my playlist.
