What a Pleasant Surprise

I thought I was ready.I was NOT.I have heard about this show for so long and I've been wanting to check it out purely to see what's all the fuss is all about. I did not expect the first episode alone to have this strong pf a hook. I'm hooked.

Twisted

Weirdly enough, this episode felt like 4 other episodes in, so much happens yet not that many things unfolded. And then, the last couple of minutes hit, and oh my God, how did it get here? Arata and Midoriko? For real? Now, I have not seen bullshit on this magnitude for years. Wow, what a way to drop the ball.

Take A Stance

This episode went all over the place. For instance, Midoriko showed a glimpse of confusion at her own mischiefs and then proceeds to drop the ball even lower.

For Her

Welp, I guess I see the vision now. But if it's for her he could have at least let a bit of interest slip, because he seems like ea completely different character from what he appeared to be in the first couple of episodes.

Big Dream

Annnnnnnd he pulled up the "my dream" card. It's definitely going toward it's either me or my dream. I hope I'm surprised somehow.

Sadness And Sorrow

This was the episode everyone was gonna be feeling huh? I thought at least one of the main characters was gonna live in happiness while the rest are being forced to give up on their love but it seems like everyone is down. Maybe that's a good thing because they will all end up happy in the end.

Rejection

"The Rejection" the episode, it was bad enough seeing Arata go through it. They had to double down with Riko as well.

Count Down

This one felt weirdly like a filler episode, so far, the lowest in terms of production and budget, it felt like a low-quality episode.I guess the classic count down plotline is introduced, the time is clocking. Is it gonna be one of those who chose love over career conclusions?

I Was Right

It seems I was right about the pace picking up, but it's not an obscure thing to feel when Arata nad Shuji were staring at each other like they are warring shoguns. The side looks are sooooo petty I love it.

Tension

I feel like this was the episode that kicked everything up a notch. I already know it's not slowing down anytime soon, tension built, and rivalries established, and it seems Saiky is the only one oblivious to it.The stare-down at the end was kinda weird.

Change Is Coming

I can already smell this is gonna be a nasty love triangle, maybe more faces than triangles to be honest. I'm here for it.

Kotoko's Spirit

I guess Kotoko still lives on in this role as well. However, not as obnoxious and annoying, or at least this showing is the extent of it. I already dislike the main lead for some reason.

How Has Kotoko Grown

I have been postponing watching this since a long time ago and only decided to watch it in the first place because of Honoka Yahagi it feels so weird seeing her play someone other than Kotoko, but I'm here for it.This felt like a simple, low-budget live-action, nothing really to praise so far, but I'll be sticking for the drama all the way. I hope it's not too annoying.

Episodes 7 and 8

The feeling of bitterness rushed me the same way they did when I first finished the show, it really was a journey, even through a different lens through these clips.

Episodes 5 and 6

These fly by quickly. It's sade seeing some of these scenes because they remind you of how heated the situation was in the show at that time, but then seeing how the crew is having a blast filming them comes off a bit endearing.
