SHORT, SWEET AND TO THE POINT.

This is the first ever historical BL I've watched so far that was an actual BL (not BL turned into bromance or planktonic relationship) and ended with a sweet kiss. ( "Tinted with you" is an exception bcz it's not really a historical drama. Though it takes place in a historical setting, it's a fantasy drama with one ML from modern times, who time travelled to past).
I don't know why people complains more than appreciating. Trust me. It wasn't a rushed drama. But yes, no time was wasted in back stories and unnecessary explanation.
IT ONLY FOCUSES ON THE LOVE STORY OF THE MAIN COUPLE. UNLIKE OTHER HISTORICAL DRAMAS, THERE'S NO SIDE STORIES OR BACK STORIES SHOWING TREACHERY AND SCHEMES AND SOCIETY. SO IF YOU'RE OKAY WITH JUST THE COUPLE, WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT...WHAT IFS AND WHAT NOWS, DEFINITELY GO FOR IT!
I've seen a lot of people comparing it to SPRING OF CRUSH. Yes, the plot is somewhat similar bcz both involves a guy who cross-dressed as a woman and married a man. But other than that, the stories and endings are different. Spring of crush is much more elaborate and complex which is why it did not really end up as a happy ending for a BL couple( it definitely wasn't a sad ending either).
Whereas, Nobleman Ryu's wedding is much more simpler story so it could end up with a sweet ending. I liked both!
