For me, once the reveal was done in episode 2 I knew there would be no redeeming our female lead. Not that I was particularly surprised since it was all but telegraphed that she was up to no good; still I hoped to be wrong that this woman wasn't just toying with the ML in order to undermine his case. But of course, she was, and the doofus ML who had earlier been shown to be smart lost all my respect. That he failed to do a deeper search on her was on him, especially with him knowing how sensitive his work was. Bag fumbled, case closed.
