This might be the first true Chinese soap opera I've ever watched. Every aspect of it from the plot to the camera angles and the overly dramatic reactions from most of the characters puts this firmly in that category. The unbelievable part is that this was actually filmed in 2015. 2015! Ayia, I couldn't help but laugh as the plot progressed. Nothing to see here folks.
