umm this was the ending ? SPOILERS AHEAD
I loved the first part so much, i think it did quite a good job but the second part is where it all went down hill. Where did Won Bin go ? He was with the class and the next season he wasn't. Maybe the actor couldn't film or they didn't want to write his character in but they could have at least did some goodbye or mention where his character had left to.We're transported into this new place where the characters have well, changed drastically since the leaders passing, which i honestly thought the character development had gone quite well.. well that was until the ending.
To get started, the kids break up into teams and continue killing the spheres and going out for ammo, food, resources, etc. This results into two of the biggest events in part two, the prison scene and one of their friends dying and they don't know how. The prison scene i think was one of the worst scenes to happen in the show but i can let it slide if it was necessary for the plot. however i think the sexual assault scene was completely unnecessary and did nothing but show that BoRa actually did care for Ae Sol all along. But that couldve easily been portrayed in other ways. The classmate's death was semi necessary to create animosity between the characters but i hated how they portrayed it to be something suspenseful just for him to have fallen to his death because of the spheres..
The ending though is really ridiculous as we have another sexual assault scene followed up by everyone's death. Yeong Soo's character in general was so horrible from start to finish. He's poor so he still cares about college while the world is ending ? i suppose there could be someone out there like that but it still felt so pointless. Then he starts hallucinating and going "insane" and sexually assaults soyeon all because he continously made creepy advances towards her and then felt insulted by her ?? then hallucinates and kills his whole classroom because "no one can find out what happened" as if the bodies with gun shot wounds won't be retrieved later?? it all just felt like a very lazy and unjustified ending. I don't mind having only a few survivors at the end but .. that was a horrible way to go about it honestly. Maybe that was supposed to be the point though ? to not give hormonal, stressed, angsty teenagers hold mass weapons of destruction ?? regardless though, there was so many plotholes and the ending was done very poorly.

idk how to feel...
As stated in the title.. i'm not sure how to feel. I was curious when i first started this show how everything would play out between chasing a serial killer and fighting off supernatural beings. However at times, the plot fell through. It felt very lacking and i feel like they could have done a better job building up suspense between hwasun and her husbands serial killer.we could have gotten it to where hwa sun explored different areas and found different clues leading up to her husbands serial killer all while finding out about the creature. i honestly thought the creature and the serial killer would've has some connection but there was none other than a lackluster "revenge" plot that dies off quite quickly one the serial killer dies.
There was also alot of unnecessary deaths, lots of characters who the audience felt zero attachment to because there was no reason to feel attached to them SPOILER AHEAD: for example, mr.choi died and while i felt some pity the only sympathy we should have felt for him was that he felt guilty his father killed dongrims father ? SPOILER END. honestly there was alot of empty characters, plots, etc. And as for locations, most of the characters mainly stayed in the same 2 locations which just felt kind of lazy imo. if there's going to be limited locations, at least make it more suspenseful like train to busan for example.
I do believe though that the soundtrack is pretty good, i absolutely love Shadow but that's expected of the dreamcatcher girlies. I also quite enjoyed the casting and acting and i think they all portrayed their characters quite nicely.
I just wish the series could've expanded more on the plot and it never really explained why the creature specifically targeted hwa sun
SPOILER : The ending was also quite lacking as all it took was dongrim fighting back ? I understand her character hardly ever fought back in the past so maybe that was supposed to be a huge courageous moment for her character but it felt empty and lacking.
In other words, everything was decent except that i just felt empty watching it, there wasn't many highs or lows or emotional moments to get me highly invested in these characters lives and emotions. And the plot overall could have been better

what the hell was that....
Honestly want to give it a lower rating but i feel bad for the actors and actresses who had to act in this shitshow.I'm typically an open minded person and try to not rate things too lowly but within the first 5 minutes of the film, i was genuinely shocked at how terrible it was already. i tried pushing through and watched the full thing.
I don't even know where to start..
first of all.. WHY ARE THEY MAKING MINECRAFT ZOMBIE NOISES ?? this is supposed to be a serious drama yet it doesn't seem to take itself seriously at all. i thought it was supposed to be a comedy/parody one but its not. it's tagged in suspense and horror. Going along with what i've previously said, i am TERRIFIED of zombies yet this didn't even scare me one bit. Some of the zombies are smiling ?? and the sfx doesn't look good at all, i understand that could be because of a lower budget but cmon now.. the main zombie literally had vampire teeth AND WHY IS IT FIGHTING ???
Secondly, the acting in this is honestly kind of poor and i'm not sure if it's because of script or the way everything was shot. and when it comes to script overall,, yikes. So this started because of a cat ??? which started because of... covid ?? LOL. not to mention the way the movie starts off in general ?? typically there should be a more suspenseful opening than that but you showcase one of the main characters "dying" within the first minute just to switch it at the end, i suppose it makes sense bc why show all that but it makes no sense how he had all those zombies on him and NOT ONE bit him.
Going back to the plot overall, yikes. so it started because of a cat bite/scratch in which he attacked his partner, he then makes his way into the city to.. break into a shop and eat raw meat..? and when people get close to him he growls at them and hugs the raw meat closer before running away... interesting "zombie" then he runs into the main guy looks at him then walks away ?? i suppose it could be becuase he didnt fully transition yet but still.. also for a girl whos drink got "spiked" she sure knows how to move quick LOL.. and i lost it when they asked "why is he so fast" and its a zombie barely moving at all LOL .. also the phone that got thrown on the floor is completely broken ?? and you cant use the other phone because its locked.. yet there's an emergency sos feature on all phones.. it'd be better if it was just dead or there was no signal or something. also why did no one notice THE AXE ON THE WALL.
