Too packed
Director's cut does not do the actual drama any justice. It's too short and everything is compacted. Things are here and there. You likely won't get what's going on. This storyline requires time to develop so if you want the actual experience, watch the actual 32 episodes. Actors were okay. Music is okay too. Not exceptional. I personally feel that there's not much feelings in this Director's Cut since it was not the full thing. But actually if you want to know whether the 32 episodes are worth watching, you can try watching this before deciding. That worked for me. The couple dynamics were in a way, weirder in the drama than in this cut.Cet avis était-il utile?
How to be strong 101
It's a slow progression. But you'll see how the lead goes on and emerges stronger. Just when you thought she was invincible, no. There's even more. Romance part is slow and calm. Nothing much that will break your heart during watching. Story is very basic but I personally think the actors made it come to life. I think quite a lot happened in 32 episodes which makes me want to come back and watch it again. I didn't really like the songs. But they do make me feel nostalgic. Relationship and Occupation goalsss!
I was very intrigued by the first few episodes how 初利's task will go. And wow she is surprising very calm and funny at times. 虞书欣Esther and 丁禹兮Ryan did a great job acting 初利 and 昼川 respectively. 初利 is quite a bubbly girl and I reallllyyyyy like her. Her ambition to become a better editor is something worth learning from. 昼川 is talented and rather smart; a great match for 初利! Oh and out of the 6 OSTs, 2 are sung by the main leads respectively!! Head over Heels for this drama!
So I came across this drama in March 2021 and joined my mother in watching. So I started watching bits and pieces from Episode 13 onwards. I rewatched the drama approximately 8 times! It was so good it got me craving for more and started on my C-Drama addiction. Story is not extraordinary and goes at a slow pace. Plot is predictable the first time I watched. 徐令宜 is the guy you would fall for but also at the same time, laugh at. He has questionable actions but afterall, his love for 十一娘 is a chef's kiss. 十一娘 is witty to the point she tries to make her life count and better her quality of life. She doesn't make way when it comes to gender inequality. She empowers women. This drama also has quite the fights you would see in the harem. If you enjoy sweet slow romance, then this would be for you!Cet avis était-il utile?

Pretty much damsel in distress(but the damsel is also strong at times).
One of the first ever C-Dramas I watched back in 2015. Every few years, I come back to this show. The plot, songs and characters are worth it. Heartbreaking moments come and go. The sweet parts are when everything seems calm and when both leads are being true to each other. Also a bonus that the two main leads have a small relationship in another drama(风云天地Master of Destiny)! The OSTs are all really good like I would actually come back just for them! I think they fit the drama really well. Antagonism in this drama is pretty high. I really want to punch the guy threatening Du Xiao Han. Goes to show the acting. I feel quite sad for Jiang Xin losing her adoptive father, grandfather as well as mother. Did her monkey make it? I forgot. But that's like all her family. :( Bai Zheng Qing sacrificing anything to protect Jiang Xin though, that's goals!!!Cet avis était-il utile?
