  • Go Back Couple

    1. Go Back Couple

    Korean Drama - 2017, 12 episodes

    10

*Which character would you like to see it the future? Choi Ban Do & Ma Jin Goo from Go Back Couple. I'm really interested whether they were able to put all the differences aside and function like a real family when they got back to present day.
It's easy when you're in a difficult situation to crave what you had before, but the real challenge is to make it work in daily life. Totally have my fingers crossed for them though. I cried so much for them to be together, don't want it to go to waste lol

  • Because This is My First Life

    2. Because This is My First Life

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    10

*A popular actor you don't like. Kim Min Seok.
I think his looks make me dislike him a bit- he has a very unattractive smile in my opinion. It's not that I'll stay away from his drama, might tho from one he'll act as the main lead.
When he had supporting roles like in Decedents of the Sun I could somehow bare him on my screen but in Because This is My First Life where he played the second/third lead it wasn't fun at all.

  • Tomorrow With You

    3. Tomorrow With You

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    10
  • While You Were Sleeping

    4. While You Were Sleeping

    Korean Drama - 2017, 32 episodes

    10

*What actor/actress/director/writers will make you watch any remake?
Previously I had actors I watched every single drama they've released. But I've started being more picky and I haven't seen even Kim Tae Hee's horror show nor Ji Chang Wook's teen drama yet. So I'll go maybe with actors that my dramas sequence of them still didn't break and mention Suzy (7 dramas in a row) and Lee Jong Suk (9 dramas in a row).
Honorable mentions: Lee Min Ho (8 dramas in a row) and Gong Hyo Jin (7 dramas in a row). Both are better actors but I'm a bit less fan on a personal level ;)

  • Fight For My Way

    5. Fight For My Way

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    10

*Recommend a Drama and/or a Movie that has "Fight", "Battle", "Warrior", or a Weapon in its title. I really wanted to be original but the only drama that I have that fits this keyword is Fight for My Way. This drama is amazing, and the only one I have re watched in the last few years, and that says a lot. I usually am not a fan of friendship that evolves into romance but here it was portrayed so well that I couldn't not care for them. They were perfect together and the last few minutes of the last ep were just hilarious.
p.s it's the second drama in a row I mention of Park Seo Joon, what a coincidence lol

  • Band of Sisters

    6. Band of Sisters

    Korean Drama - 2017, 68 episodes

    9.5
  • Woman of Dignity

    7. Woman of Dignity

    Korean Drama - 2017, 20 episodes

    9.5

*Recommend a Drama and/or a Movie that has "Woman", "Girl", "Man", or "Boy" in its title.
Woman of Dignity is such an incredible drama. It somehow managed to provide an original plot while using every single cliche from the book. A poor girl who wants to become rich and marries the grandfather, a daughter in law who gets cheated on. and yet the drama is leaded by two exceptionally talented actresses that show how strong women can be. It's a heavy drama and was considered the heaviest in JTBC history till Sky Castle arrived but it's really worth it.

  • Chicago Typewriter

    8. Chicago Typewriter

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    9.5

*Recommend a Drama and/or a Movie that has the Name of a City/Town or a Country in its title.
Can't really be original since the only 2 that fit the keyword are Chicago Typewriter and Memories from the Alhambra, and obviously I won't choose the second - such a stupid drama lol. Yoo Ah In and Im Soo Jung, I think just mentioning this two means you have to watch this drama. Everything was good about this drama- the cast, the story, the cinematography but something there just didn't allow it become a 10/10 drama. Nevertheless, I mostly enjoyed it and totally recommend.

  • Eternal Love

    9. Eternal Love

    Chinese Drama - 2017, 58 episodes

    9.5

My mind says 10/10 but my heart only gives it 8.5. I'm probably not mature enough yet to enjoy truly this masterpiece.

  • I’m Not a Robot

    10. I’m Not a Robot

    Korean Drama - 2017, 32 episodes

    9.5

Sweet drama with beautiful romance, but too many useless side stories.

  • Man to Man

    11. Man to Man

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    9.0
  • L'amour éternel

    12. L'amour éternel

    Chinese Drama - 2017, 24 episodes

    9.0
  • Do Bong Soon, une force de la nature

    13. Do Bong Soon, une force de la nature

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    9.0
  • Prison Playbook

    14. Prison Playbook

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    9.0

Jung Woong In the good cap and Sung Dong Il the bad cap? How's that going to work? ;)
The drama is quite nice, you can feel that Reply feeling but maybe because the concept is a bit problematic, it's not that amazing in comparison to the others of the PD and writer due.
ML guy has a great body, really really great *_*
Also, I'm happy I chose Lee Kyu Hyung as one of the TOP5 actors of this year for his role in Hi Bye, Mama! cause his acting here in Prison Playbook was extremely good. I was in awe with the actor, and I wish he'll get more ML roles in the future.
Jung Kyung Ho was also nice, I think comic roles suit him much more than complicated ones like in Cruel City.

  • School 2017

    15. School 2017

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    8.5
  • La femme du roi

    16. La femme du roi

    Chinese Drama - 2017, 48 episodes

    8.5

I don't think she suffered from Stockholm syndrome like many others since he treated her well and never forced himself on her. He gave her time and it's obvious that if you're lonely you'll cling onto the one person who'll offer you affection.
It's upsetting he never trusted her, I didn't see it coming but I guess when you're a king, you need to always be attentive.
It could've been better, even before the middle part I knew I wouldn't give it a higher score than this one. Happy though it ain't worse.

  • Kleun Cheewit

    17. Kleun Cheewit

    Thai Drama - 2017, 15 episodes

    8.5

I don't know why anyone would think that it's logical to make a guy fall in love with the girl who killed (even if by mistake) his fiancé.
Anyway there was a nice build up between all the characters and the last 5 eps were amazing. That's why my rating soured up.

  • Introverted Boss

    18. Introverted Boss

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    8.0
  • My Father is Strange

    19. My Father is Strange

    Korean Drama - 2017, 52 episodes

    8.0

Started it for Jung So Min while waiting for the last eps of AoS S2 but somehow AoS has ended and it took me awhile to let go and get back to this drama. Seeing JSM also didn't make it any easier.
but I'm happy overall that I've caught up with it. Unlike my friend, I can't precisely say it's the best family drama I've seen but it was fine. The goddess Lee Yoo Ri showed yet again how much she deserves her Daesang, Kim Hee Seok slayed and so the guy who played the dad, the forever nemesis of T-ara Haeyoung also did a great job, and truly I don't know if I felt that because I knew about their dating history, but the chemistry between Lee Joon and JSM was extremely notable from their first encounter. (btw- why they started to dress her so reveling with shorts constantly after she started developing feelings for him?)
The problem with family dramas is that the acting at times is quite excessive but you learn to live with it especially since the subplot touched so many important topics, like bullying, lack of resources for education and more.
Have to say even though they redeemed themselves that this drama portrays two couples of in-laws. One that I'd love to have and another that I'll just run off.

  • The Bride of Habaek

    20. The Bride of Habaek

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    8.0
  • Money Flower

    21. Money Flower

    Korean Drama - 2017, 24 episodes

    8.0

I'm a bit sad to give such a "low" rating to a Jang Hyuk drama, cause all his other ones I've watched I gave a 10/10 rate.
But, even though he like always was amazing, this makjang was so so heavy. I felt like it was going on forever and I really dislike this kind of feeling.
I'm happy that unlike my friend, I wasn't watching it while it was going cause I think I would've dropped it pretty fast.
Also, on a personal note, with the fact the SK is famous for plastic surgeries, I can't seem to understand why the second ML did nothing to his ears. They're looking quite weird and distract the attention from the scene.

  • Man in the Kitchen

    22. Man in the Kitchen

    Korean Drama - 2017, 50 episodes

    7.5

I've seen quite a few family dramas and I know they like to make a lot of connections between characters but bible that I haven't seen nothing like this one. You can practically draw a net of the relationships between every one here and not a single end will stay loose.
and I know everyone likes a happy ending but for me the older couple had to get a divorce. She endured so much mental abuse throughout their marriage that I don't even understand how she craved to start anew with him. Men like those won't change, especially when they are over 60.
I was mostly interested in the relationship of the brother and his wife (and mother in-law) but even that started to drag around the 40th episodes.
Wouldn't recommend watching it unless you have plenty of time. I've watched it for Sooyoung since I'm a SONE but her story was the least interesting of them all. She did great anyways, though they really dressed her bad for her body proportions. Those long cardigans made her look like an ahjumma.

  • Queen for Seven Days

    23. Queen for Seven Days

    Korean Drama - 2017, 20 episodes

    7.5
  • Live Up to Your Name

    24. Live Up to Your Name

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    7.5
  • My Secret Romance

    25. My Secret Romance

    Korean Drama - 2017, 13 episodes

    7.0
  • My Sassy Girl

    26. My Sassy Girl

    Korean Drama - 2017, 32 episodes

    7.0

Zero chemistry, not much movement in the plot and mostly wrong interpretation to the amazing classic with Jun Ji Hyun and Cha Tae Hyun.
It’s not that I had big expectations since the reviews aren’t that favorable yet I do feel a bit disappointed cause the leads and many of the supporting cast are extremely talented and well known actors.

  • Temperature of Love

    27. Temperature of Love

    Korean Drama - 2017, 40 episodes

    6.5
  • So Sanaeha

    28. So Sanaeha

    Thai Drama - 2017, 15 episodes

    6.5

I was searching for Game Saneaha but accidently started watching this drama.
I looked for the names of the characters and found what I was watching but the reviews weren't as favorable to say the least, but I'm not a quitter.
I don't know what it is about Thai lakorns but the evil characters there are pure EVIL. You can't and you don't want to sympathize with them. I just waited throughout the drama till both the ML's mom and the FL's "stepdad" will get what they deserve. I can't say that I'm very satisfied unfortunately.
Also I can't seem to understand why every ep included at least twice the same 3 flashback romantic scenes. With all of this spare time, they could've filmed some more scenes. It got to the point where I already memorized every little nuance in those scenes.

  • Suspicious Partner

    29. Suspicious Partner

    Korean Drama - 2017, 40 episodes

    6.0
  • A Korean Odyssey

    30. A Korean Odyssey

    Korean Drama - 2017, 20 episodes

    6.0
  • Manhole

    31. Manhole

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    5.5

*A drama you can never re-watch or recommend Manhole. I think it's one of the sh*ttiest dramas I've seen in recent years.
Nothing in it was interesting and if Jaejoong and Uee weren't the leads, there's no chance that I would've straggled till the end of it. Whenever I see someone ask about this drama, I immediately bash it and make them understand this drama just doesn't worth the time.
