Rewrite the Ending?

I've watched several long series dramas recently that I found myself wishing I could rewrite the ending for. Not necessarily wishing to rewrite for a happy ending but rewrite at least some part of the final episode in a way that suits the story plotline or characters better than how it was actually concluded. Really curious about which shows you've invested hours watching that you believe have an unsatisfying ending? If you could rewrite the last episode in part or whole to correct this, what would you want to see happen?
