Adventure/Action/Thriller (mostly BL) Korean Dramas

Duel has some viscerally intense scenes that can make you forget it's acted.

lots of serious themes and crimes within the criminal underworld including but not limited to: prostitution, drugs, human trafficking, organ harvesting, etc

if this type of content is a delicate subject, avoid this series

Mostly a fun kdrama but there are a few scenes in this series that are surprisingly intense for the genre

One of the stories shown on screen is quite brutal and hits every emotion possible. Much of this show deals with politics but the few stories that don't are quite tough on the characters and the audience

this is a very low-budget BL web series but I found it charming which is why i added it :)

mostly episodic with hints at a larger story. It's aimed at a younger audience (13-18) i think

a classic in the kdrama world but there is not much action in this series. More drama and romance than elaborate fight choreographies from typical action series'.

I add it because the action we do see is surprising as well as heartbreaking

I only place this one so low because it's an action and a comedy. some of the comedic action scenes are eye-roll worthy but the serious action/thriller/suspense scenes (and there are a lot of them) are amazing! Definitely worth a watch :)
