Disappointing Missed Potential ㅠㅠ

They just focused on the love triangle drama... and the two male leads trying to save/protect the female lead..

They had so much potential with exploring her dealing with bullying and learning to stand up for herself. And they could have done a lot more with the relationship with her twin. And her twin also had her own story and struggles she was going through that could have been explored and discussed more, like her feeling guilty for not being able to stand up and be there for her friend who was getting bullied and ended up dying..

They could have built more background and lore on the school... I'm still confused on what the school is supposed to be and why the students are there... They also did not flesh out the background and politics between people in this drama enough..

I like the feel of this drama... but after a couple episodes, I get bored.. I feel like they're trying to teach some sort of lesson but it leaves me confused at the end..

Started off really good tbh but halfway through it started to drag and they focused on a crazy killer who honestly did not have much of a purpose.. It was all fine until the guy started killing off people.. They could have explored how these people are trying to survive on a deserted island and how some of these people learn to understand and work together and how others rekindle their relationships... If they really wanted to include a murder mystery then I say they could have done one important death that has multiple suspects.

I've just got to say, Joy is really not that good at acting and her character is soo annoying and cringey... The drama focuses so much on the drama and misunderstandings and really really drags it out.. This drama could have been on the love for music, but no. 

Again, Joy's acting is pretty mediocre.. and her character is seriously annoying and unnecessary. I would have loved a story/journey/arc with the trio because they were just so great and enjoyable to watch but that didn't happen... They were friends in the first couple of episodes and then toxic to each other and enemies of each other for the rest of the drama...

The drama was just okay.. what they could have done is explore the relationship between the ml and his father (who's a murderer). They kinda explore it but also kinda don't. They also don't explain how the father killed the fl's parents very well... They could have also explored how the fl dealt with the death of her parents and her relationship with the murderer and the ml.. Again, they kinda tried to but not really that well or deeply..

Was okay and interesting at first but then it started to drag and there were a lot of unnecessary drama... especially a lot of unnecessary romance drama..

They could have focused on how the fl saves her self and makes a life/story out of herself but they ended up not focusing as much on how the fl grows..

Seonho was the best character, hands down. The rest is mostly meh.. politics drag out and kinda have some unnecessary drama. FL is annoying and feels kinda unnecessary. Romance is unnecessary and boring. ML feels a bit boring and annoying..

Could have been a basic or good interesting time travel adventure but they made it weird halfway.. suddenly they add in like a romance aspect between the ml and his mom from the past?? What the hell? They kinda stop but still, what the hell? Then, they explain the time travel concept weirdly and a bunch of random shit happens that just confuse me more...

Was okay but felt a bit too basic? Was like a basic, "oh robots can have feelings and care too." type of story that honestly didn't feel fully fleshed out. I felt like there was some unnecessary drama as well.. Also they could have explored the character (that the robot was a copy of) and how he deals with having this robot and his complicated relationship with the people around him and how/why he is the way he is and how he learns to grow..

they killed the actual king off too early tbh.. most of the drama is just the fake king just trying to get by (and doing so terribly) and also falling in love.. I was far more interested in the actual king, his struggles, and the conflicts he had with some people.. but then he died early on so.. yeahh, they messed up on some interesting stuff they could have done 

Sooo much missed potential in this drama.. it actually pisses me off... You literally have a strong assassin who is in hiding and planned to murder some important people as your female lead, and the writers just make her support the ml and be his love interest??!? Are you fucking kidding me right now?? Not to mention, they also use too much unnecessary comedy scenes and such... like what in the world.. You writers literally had everything: the amazing cast, good cgi and cinematography, good/interesting soundtrack, interesting premise, etc. And you ruin all of that with your terrible writing??!?

An absolute waste on one of the best actor and actress pairings ever!! I'm actually pissed. The beginning have was kinda good tbh. Them dealing with their failing marriage and working through their conflicts was good, but then they had to keep on doing this back and forth thing and add a bunch of miscommunication and lack of communication. And also had to throw in some psycho obsessed villains and a bunch of plainly ridiculous and nonsensical happenings.. it fell and spun into a hole of ridiculousness and chaos.. The main plot at the beginning was good as is. Dealing with their troubling marriage was a good and interesting enough plot in its own.. They didn't have to add a bunch of ridiculous things and annoying tropes..

idk if there will be another season or more to come, but just from this alone, this drama is pretty lacking and underdeveloped.. it's pretty messy and lacking with its plot (and explanations) and showcasing characters and the depth with those characters and their relationships with one another.. I kept wanting more depth, but they didn't seem to truly give it to me. And the drama ends up feeling so bland and boring that I almost dropped it.. I read the BTS webtoon Save Me, and it sorta helped me understand the drama better. However, I feel like I shouldn't have to read the webtoon to understand a drama better. All the names and some of the character backgrounds and plot was also different... they just wrote this drama really poorly tbh, which is a pity because I really liked the main cast.. what a waste of potential..
