I don't know if it is because I am new to MDL or what but I thing the rating system could be done better. Typically I rate shows around the mid way mark when I have had a chance to experience much of the drama so that it is somewhat a fair and honest rating. But often people rate as soon as they star which isn't a problem but rater I think makes the ratings skewed. I think the site/app should encourage episode by episode rating when you update your watching progress and calculate your overall show rating based on the average of the episode scores. I tried to do this thinking that the site would give the final rating based on the episode ratings but I still had to do that myself...
