Upcoming fantasy K-drama "The High Priest Rembrary" confirms its cast lineup

The upcoming 2023 tvN K-drama "The High Priest Rembrary" announces its official cast lineup.

On November 24th, tvN released the names of the official cast of "The High Priest Rembrary."

Aside from the confirmed main lead Kim Min Gue, Go Bo Gyeol, Lee Jang Woo, Ye Ji Won, and Tak Jae Hoon, will also join and complete the story of the upcoming series. 

"The High Priest Rembrary" will adapt its story from the Naver web novel titled "Holy Idol" (성스러운 아이돌). It will tell the story of a deputy of God who suddenly wakes up and has possessed the body of an unknown and handsome idol. 

The upcoming series will premiere in the first half of 2023. It will exclusively air on tvN.

Kim Min Gue will play a double role in the k-drama. He will portray as the high priest Rembrary who will wake up in Woo Yeon Woo's body. Woo Yeon Woo is a member of the idol team named Wild Animal. They already debuted five years but they are still unknown up to this day. This will be the follow-up project of Kim Min Gue after he successfully starred in the 2022 series "A Business Proposal." This will also be his first-ever leading role in a broadcast channel. 

Meanwhile, Go Bo Gyeol will portray the character named Kim Dal. She is the manager of the idol group Wild Animal and she has been a long-term fan of Woo Yeon Woo. 

Lee Jang Woo will give life to the character named Shin Dong Woon, the vice chairman of a popular entertainment agency. He will be the world's devil Lumena where Rembrary lived.

Ye Ji Won will play the role of Lim Sun Ja, the CEO of Wild Animal's agency. 

Lastly, Tak Jae Hoon will play the part of a senior artist in the industry named Seon Woo Sil.
