"The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch" Fuels Excitement With 1st Poster

The TVN weekend drama The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch has unveiled its first poster, showcasing the return of the Counters.

Scheduled to premiere in July 2023, The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch is a highly-anticipated tvN weekend drama directed by Yoo Seon Dong, with the screenplay penned by  Kim Sae Bom and Yeo Ji Na. 

The series marks the return of demon hunters known as the Counters, who have become stronger with new abilities and the addition of fresh recruits for battling menacing demons on Earth. 

Based on a webtoon of the same name, which has amassed 160 million views, The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch series has firmly established itself as a hit show, securing the top spot in OCN's drama history. Actors from Season 1, such as Cho Byeong Kyu (as So Moon), Yoo Joon Sang (as Ga Mo Tak), Kim Se Jeong (as Do Ha Na), Yeom Hye Ran (as Chu Mae Ok), and Ahn Suk Hwan (as Choi Jang Mool) will reprise their roles as demon hunters. 

Additionally, the new cast, which includes Jin Seon Kyu (Ma Joo Seok), Kang Ki Young (as Pil Kwang), Kim Hi Eo Ra (as Gelly Berherd), and Yoo In Soo (Na Jeok Bong), fuels the excitement.

To amplify the anticipation, the production of The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch released a poster. The poster shows the Counters' silhouettes as they stand facing the cityscape. The image captures their vigilance in protecting the land as powerful waves of energy surge through various urban locations. The silhouette serves as a nostalgic reminder of the Counters' demon-hunting prowess and their remarkable teamwork, which turned the audience into raving fans in 2020.

The poster gives the first glimpse of the rookie counter, Yoo In Soo. The new cast and their synergy, evident from their script-reading session, promise a thrilling adventure ahead.
