Actor Song Deok Ho will no longer be part of the upcoming tvN K-drama "Beneficial Fraud."

On January 31, Song Deok Ho became part of the headlines due to the suspicion of corruption in military service. According to reports, the actor was involved in alleged military service corruption. 

The South Korean government's Military Manpower Administration has recently conducted a large-scale investigation into military service corruption that involves celebrities and professional athletes. The first celebrity that was revealed to be allegedly part of the corruption is VIXX's Ravi. Song Deok Ho is the next celebrity to be revealed and is currently being investigated by the prosecution. 

Song Deok Ho's agency Bistus Entertainment responded to the circulating news. According to the agency, Song Deok Ho has stopped filming for his upcoming K-drama and will drop out of the series. They also shared that the actor will participate in the investigation related to military service corruption. 

The production company behind "Beneficial Fraud" Studio Dragon also shared their side regarding the news. Studio Dragon confirmed that Song Deok Ho will no longer be part of the upcoming K-drama and they are actively looking for his replacement. They also shared that the filming schedule for the drama is not tight and the replacement will not affect the entire broadcast date. 

According to reports, Song Deok Ho is being investigated for contacting a broker so he can evade or postpone his military service by faking symptoms of epilepsy. 

Song Deok Ho made his acting debut in 2018. He is known for being part of the K-dramas "May I Help You," "Cheer Up," "Link: Eat, Love, Kill," "D.P.," and more. 

The actor is set to appear in the upcoming movie "Re-Born" with Lee Yoo Mi, Kim Min Seok, Park Kyung Hye, Jin Goo, and Eum Moon Suk. There is no official statement yet if he will still be part of the film or just like in "Beneficial Fraud," he will also have to step down from the upcoming movie.
