Shin Hye Sun and Ahn Bo Hyun's K-drama "See You in My 19th Life" Confirms Premier Date!

The production team of tvN's new weekend drama See You in My 19th Life announced that the K-drama will premiere in June. 

See You in My 19th Life is a romance drama that tells the story of Ban Ji Eum (Shin Hye Sun), an extraordinary woman who remembers all her past lives and seeks out her fated connection, Moon Seo Ha (Ahn Bo Hyun), whom she met in her previous life. 

The drama also casts actress Ha Yoon Kyung in the role of Yoon Cho Won - Ban Ji Eum's Sister in her 18th life  - and Ahn Dong Goo as Ha Do Yoon - Seo Ha's loyal secretary and long-time friend.

Based on the Naver webtoon of the same name, the drama is directed by Lee Na Jung, whose notable works include "Love Alarm," and "Fight for My Way". The web manhwa has recorded about 700 million global views, becoming one of the most talked-about Naver webtoons of all time.

The behind-the-scenes footage portrays the cast's chemistry and the production process of See You in My 19th Life.

The author and artist of the original webtoon Lee Hye introduces the characters, saying, "Ji Eum has a bold style of saying everything she wants to say and is attractive for her determination of rushing toward her goal daringly. Seo Ha has a shaky style. Just by looking at her, anyone can tell that Cho Won is a lovable and bright character, and Do Yoon is similar to Ji Eum in character but with a twist".

Director Lee Na Jung praised Shin Hye Sun, saying, "The character of Ban Ji Eum, who has lived for over a thousand years, requires exceptional acting ability. The actress we were looking for needed to be cool, beautiful, and charismatic, and there was no one who could fulfill all of those requirements as precisely as Shin Hye Sun". She also said, "I was surprised by Ahn Bo Hyun's versatility in each of his different works. I thought he would be a good match for the character of Moon Seo Ha".
