"Romantic Guest House" confirms its airing date!

The upcoming historical mystery K-drama Romantic Guest House will officially premiere next month.

The whole cast of Romantic Guest House participated in the first script reading on February 15. Through this news, it was also officially confirmed that the upcoming K-drama will begin airing starting on March 20. 

Romantic Guest House will base its story on the web novel of the same name that received a 9.9 rating. The story will unfold as Yoon Dan Oh began to be the official caretaker of Ihwawon Inn where a lot of scholars come as a guest to prepare for their civil servant entrance exam. She will meet three scholars who have their secrets and they will work together in finding out the truth about another scholar who disappeared 13 years ago. 

The upcoming K-drama will be led by Shin Ye Eun, Ryeoun, Kang Hoon, Jung Gun Joo, Hyun Woo, Oh Man Suk, and more. 

Romantic Guest House will be the collaboration work of director Kim Jung Min (Queen: Love And War and The Princess's Man) and writer  Kwon Eum Mi (Gap Dong and Woman with a Suitcase).

In the first script reading, a friendly meeting of the actors was captured. The cast was seen lively greeting and hugging upon entering the place. The cast had a fun and lively script reading.

The production team of the K-drama shared, "Romantic Guest House is a collaboration between great actors and a talented production team that will showcase the beauty and tension of historical dramas. We ask for your interest in the mystery romance of Joseon's sharehouse 'Ihwawon'."

Romantic Guest House will be part of SBS Monday and Tuesday K-drama timeslot. It will be first revealed on March 20. The upcoming K-drama will also be available on the OTT platform, Viki.

Shin Ye Eun will play the role of Yoon Dan Oh. After having a comfortable life, she began to be the one responsible for Ihwawon Inn because her family is not well off anymore. 

Ryeoun will portray the role of Kang San. He is a martial arts student that has a cold vibe. He is one of the scholars that will stay in the Ihwawon Inn. 

Kang Hoon will act as Kim Si Yeol in the upcoming K-drama. Just like Kang San, he will also be a guest at Ihwawon Inn as he prepares to take the civil servant entrance exam. Unlike Kang San, Kim Si Yeol is sly and confrontational and likes to play.

Jung Goon Joo on the other hand will play the role of Jung Yoo Ha. He is the detailed handsome scholar in  Ihwawon Inn. He is sensitive to other people's feelings. He will also be one of the scholars who will be the guest of the inn and will work closely with Yoon Dan Oh on the mysteries that happened thirteen years ago.
