Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee are confirmed to lead the upcoming thriller drama "K Project."

It was officially confirmed on January 27th that Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee will be working together on a new drama. The two top actors will be joining director Jung Dong Yoon ("Hot Stove League" and "It's Okay to Not Be Okay") and writer Kang Eun Kyung ("Dr. Romantic") in creating a new masterpiece. "K Project" will be produced by GL&G Media.

"K Project" is set in the Spring of 1945 when sovereignty and human rights were taken away from the people. The story will revolve around two young adults who will fight against a greedy monster for their survival.

Park Seo Joon will be portraying the character named Jang Tae Sang. He is a rich, sociable, and well-known figure in Bukchon. The reality of life is more important to him than following justice. He will then meet Yoon Chae Ok, Han So Hee's character. She has lived the complete opposite life as Jang Tae Sang. Her father trained her to survive as they went through difficult times in Manchuria and Shanghai. She is skilled with using guns, knives, and other weapons.

"K Project" will reportedly premiere in 2023. Reports also stated that the production had already begun filming.

Park Seo Joon shared his insights as he confirmed his casting for the drama. The actor said, "I have high interest in the historical background of Gyeongseong. I am looking forward to working on this kind of plot with a great director, writer, and staff members. I will do my best as an actor to portray the role of Jang Tae Sang."

Han So Hee also shared her thoughts and stated, "I am honored to present you with a new character through 'K Project' which is full of meaningful and endless stories like Yoon Chae Ok who appears strong on the outside but has a warm heart. I will work harder to meet your expectation and have a good performance in the drama."

Aside from Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee, rising actor Wi Ha Joon will also reportedly join the upcoming drama "K Project."
