Park Seo Joon, Han So Hee, Wi Ha Joon, and more are confirmed to lead the upcoming Netflix series "K Project" (aka Gyeongseong Creature).
On September 28, Netflix announced the final cast lineup of their original drama "K Project" (Gyeongseong Creature). The series will be led by Park Seo Joon, Han So Hee, Wi Ha Joon, Kim Su Hyun (Claudia Kim), Kim Hae Sook, and Jo Han Chul.
"K Project" (Gyeongseong Creature) will tell the story of people who will fight against a monster that suddenly appeared. The drama is set in Gyeongseong in 1945.
The upcoming series will be the collaboration work of director Jung Dong Yoon ("Hot Stove League" and "It's Okay to Not Be Okay") and writer Kang Eun Kyung ("Dr. Romantic"). It will be produced by GL&G Media, Studio Dragon, and Kakao Entertainment.
"K Project" (Gyeongseong Creature) will reportedly have 16 episodes and will air in 2023. The series will be one of Netflix's original drama lineup for next year.
Park Seo Joon will play the role of Jang Tae Sang, the richest man in Gyeongseong. Han So Hee will bring life to the character named Yoon Chae Ok, a woman who's skilled at using guns, knives, and more. She was trained for survival after going through hard times in Manchuria and Shanghai.
Wi Ha Joon will play the role of Kwon Jun Taek, the friend of Jang Tae Sang who's also an independent soldier. Kim Hae Sook will play as the butler of Jang Tae Sang's family. Kim Su Hyun (Claudia Kim) will play as Maeda, a hostess of a large family in Gyeongseong. Lastly, Jo Han Chul will play the role of Yoon Jong Won, the father of Yoon Chae Ok.
