Lee Jin Wook and Lee Yun Hee have been selected to lead the upcoming Kakao original series "Marriage White Paper."

On April 4th, it was confirmed that Lee Jin Wook and Lee Yun Hee will be the main leads in the upcoming Kakao drama "Marriage White Paper." The series is set to premiere in the first half of 2022. 

"Marriage White Paper" is a 12 episode series that will reveal the journey of a couple in their 30s as they prepare for marriage. It will reveal the struggles and realistic happenings couples face as they process their upcoming marriage. It will realistically reveal the saying "dating is a fantasy, marriage is a reality."

The drama will showcase the process of marriage preparation such as the meeting of the family, ceremony preparations, finding a home for the newlyweds, and many more. 

Lee Jin Wook will play the role of Seo Jun Hyung. He is faithful and loyal to his girlfriend. He's well educated and comes from a rich and harmonious family background.  Lee Yun Hee will play the role of Kim Na Eun. She became an employee at a large company after graduating from college. The two characters have decided to get married after dating for two years. 

Both Lee Jin Wook and Lee Yun Hee shared their thoughts as the main leads of the drama. Lee Jin Wook shared that everyone can relate to the realistic story of love and marriage. Lee Yun Hee stated, "I'm excited to be part of the drama as it's been a long time since I've starred in one. Also for sure, many can relate and agree with the plot just like what the characters will experience."

"Marriage White Paper" will exclusively air on Kakao TV with each episode being 30 minutes long. The series will premiere in the first half of the year. 

This will be Lee Jin Wook's first drama for 2022. He last starred in the 2021 series "Bulgasal: Immortal Souls." He will also reportedly return to the second season "Sweet Home 2." 

This will also be Lee Yun Hee's return to dramas after two years. She last starred in the 2020 drama "The Game: Towards Zero." She was also part of the 2021 movie "New Year Blues."
