The movie Concrete Utopia has surpassed 2 million moviegoers in just 7 days from its release.
According to the distribution company Lotte Entertainment, Concrete Utopia, on August 15th, reached a cumulative audience of 2 million moviegoers at 11:36 AM KST. The movie is moving at the same pace as the crime comedy film Smugglers, which has attracted 4 million moviegoers so far.
The film drew in approximately 2,30,000 moviegoers on its release day (August 9th) and recorded an approximate audience of 2,80,000 on August 14th, entering its second week of release, demonstrating an increasing trend in the box office. Concrete Utopia has achieved 1 million viewers on its 4th day at the box office and 2 million viewers on its 7th day.
Released on August 9th, Concrete Utopia is a disaster drama film that tells the story of survivors gathering at the Hwang Goong Apartments in Seoul after a massive earthquake turned the city into ruins.
