Jung Eun Chae is in talks to join the upcoming Coupang Play's original series "The Second Anna"
According to several reports on September 15th Jung Eun Chae was offered to appear in the upcoming drama "The Second Anna" and the actress is currently adjusting her schedule for filming.
"The Second Anna" will be the latest project of director Lee Joo Young who also helmed the movies "A Single Rider" and "On the Other Side of You." The drama was originally prepared as a film but will now be turned into an 8-episode series that will be released through Coupang Play.
The upcoming series will narrate the story of a woman who lives another person's life, just like Ripley's syndrome. The role of Anna will be portrayed by Bae Suzy.
Jung Eun Chae got the offer to play the role of the woman who has had a perfect life since birth that Anna steals.
Aside from "The Second Anna," Coupang Play already released the entertainment program "Saturday Night Live Korea: Season 10." They are also preparing another original drama titled "One Ordinary Day" starring top actors Kim Soo Hyun and Cha Seung Won. "The Second Anna" will reportedly follow after its release.
"The Second Anna" will reportedly begin filming during the second half of 2021 after finalizing the cast.
Jung Eun Chae last starred in the SBS drama "The King: Eternal Monarch" with Lee Min Ho, Kim Go Eun, Woo Do Hwan, and more. She was also part of the dramas "The Guest," "Return," "Dr. Frost," and "Women in Our House." The actress will also join the upcoming movie "The Man Who Sees the Left, the Woman Who Sees the Right" together with Lee Dong Hwi and Kang Gil Woo.
