Jo Jin Woong is confirmed to return to the small screen with The Good Bad Mother.
After seven years of not appearing in any K-dramas, Jo Jin Woong has finally decided to appear in the upcoming series The Good Bad Mother. JTBC announced on March 22 that Jo Jin Woong is officially making a cameo appearance in the K-drama.
The Good Bad Mother will be led by Ra Mi Ran, Lee Do Hyun, Ahn Eun Jin, Yoo In Soo, Seo Yi Sook, and Kim Won Hae.
The series will follow the story of a mother who dedicated her whole life into taking care of her son who will lose his memory after an accident and will think like a child again.
Jo Jin Woong will play the role of Choi Hae Sik, the husband of Jin Young Soon (Ra Mi Ran). He fell in love with the Young Soon who is an owner of a simple pig farm. His role will be a key point in the story of the mother and son who are looking for their lost happiness.
The Good Bad Mother is the collaboration project between director Shim Na Yeon and writer Bae Se Young.
The upcoming K-drama will begin airing starting on April 26. It will be part of the Wednesday and Thursday JTBC timeslot. International fans can also stream the K-drama through Netflix.
According to reports, Jo Jin Woong has decided to star in the upcoming K-drama due to his great relationship with the writer Bae Se Young. The two worked together in the 2018 film Intimate Strangers.
