Actor Kim Su Gyeom who became known after starring in Duty after School, is confirmed to star in the spin-off of Stranger.
On September 5, it was officially confirmed that Kim Su Gyeom will be added to the cast of the upcoming K-drama Dong Jae, the Good or the Bastard.
This will be the comeback K-drama of Kim Su Gyeom. The actor was last seen in the two-part series Duty After School.
Kim Su Gyeom made his acting debut in 2020. He is known for being part of the K-dramas Love Revolution, Juvenile Justice, Weak Hero Class 1, and more. He also appeared in the movies A Year-End Medley and A Home from Home.
Dong Jae, the Good or the Bastard will continue the story of prosecutor Seo Dong Jae that was first introduced through the K-drama Stranger. In the new K-drama, he will regain his reputation for being a corrupted one to a trustworthy prosecutor.
Actors Lee Joon Hyuk, Park Sung Woong, and Hyun Bong Sik will lead the upcoming K-drama.
In the series, Kim Su Gyeom will portray the role of Nam Jae Re, the son of Park Sung Woong's character who owns the Lee Hong Construction. Nam Jae Re obeys everything that his father says.
The upcoming K-drama will be the joint work of director Park Geon Ho and writers Hwang Ha Jung and Kim Sang Won. Writer Lee Soo Yeon will also join as a creator in the upcoming spin-off. It will be produced by Studio Dragon, Ace Factory, and High Ground.
Dong Jae, the Good or the Bastard will officially begin airing on October 10. The K-drama will have a total of 10 episodes. It will exclusively premiere on TVING.
