A documentary film depicting the life trajectory of Kim Dong Ho, founder and former chairman of the Busan International Film Festival, has been invited to the 77th Cannes Film Festival. 

The documentary film, titled Walking In The Movies, has been invited to the Cannes Classics section of the festival. 

Walking In The Movies is a film produced by Gukje Shinmun, a daily newspaper in Busan. Kim Dong Ho is called the Godfather of the Korean Film Industry who exerted immense efforts for the development of domestic film festivals and Korean cinema. 

Walking In The Movies reexamines his life. It revisits places deeply connected to Kim's life, such as the Busan Cinema Center, Seoul Arts Center, Busan Cultural Center, Cannes Film Festival, and Busan Port. In particular, the documentary includes scenes of Kim watching a movie and chatting with residents of his hometown in Gwangju, interviews with directors Lee Chang Fong, Lee Jeong Hyang, Shin Su Won, Japanese director Koreeda Hirokazu, as well as interviews with actors Park Jeong JaZo In Sung, and more.

Directed by Kim Ryang, the film was co-produced by Busan's John Film with Kukje newspaper. Actress Ye Ji Won provided the narration.
