The second teaser for Check in Hanyang has been released.
Check in Hanyang revolves around Yongcheonru, the largest guesthouse in Joseon, which operates under the motto "The guest is king," and it follows the young interns — Lee Eun Ho (Bae In Hyuk), Hong Deok Su (Kim Ji Eun), Chun Jun Hwa (Jung Gun Joo), and Go Soo Ra (Park Jae Chan) — who begin to work there for their own personal reasons.
The teaser showcases the four youths — Lee Eun Ho (Bae In Hyuk), Hong Deok Su (Kim Ji Eun), Chun Jun Hwa (Jung Gun Joo), and Go Soo Ra (Park Jae Chan) — competing, cooperating, and growing in Yongcheonru.
The teaser video begins with Hong Deok Su (Kim Ji Eun) saying, "Another palace built across from the king's palace, 'Yongcheonru.'" The attendants dress the guests in the royal dragon robes, and the narration continues with, "The finest guesthouse of the Joseon era, Yongcheonru, located in the auspicious spot where a dragon is said to have rested, treats its guests like royalty."
The scene shifts with the sound of someone slamming a table. The person making the noise is none other than Lee Eun Ho (Bae In Hyuk), Prince Mu Young, who has disguised himself and joined Yongcheonru. He angrily shouts, "How dare you call them kings! Do you all have a death wish?!"
His royal demeanor draws strange looks from those around him. Among the murmuring attendants, Hong Deok Su shakes her head and humorously remarks, "Better not get involved with him."
The story then unfolds as the new trainees begin their hotelier lives at Yongcheonru. However, for some reason, from the very start, Lee Eun Ho, Hong Deok Su, Chun Jun Hwa (Jung Gun Joo), and Go Soo Ra (Park Jae Chan) cause a commotion, engaging in a scuffle.
As a result, their supervisor, Bang Sa Seon (Kim Yun Bae), delivers a harsh punishment, saying, "You four are getting demerits."
Chun Jun Hwa says, "Since we're all in the same boat anyway, shall we face this storm together?"
Most notably, Hong Deok Su, who disguised as a man to enter the all-male trainees' dormitory, will have a challenging time ahead.
The teaser concludes with the four youths happily and energetically doing laundry together, leaving viewers eagerly awaiting the coming-of-age story of Joseon youth at Yongcheonru.
Check in Hanyang will premiere on December 21. The K-drama will be available to stream on Viki. Watch the teaser here.
