Bae In Hyuk, Kim Ji Eun, Jung Gun Joo, Jae Chan make a quirky quartet in Check in Hanyang

Check in Hanyang dropped a new teaser. 

Check in Hanyang revolves around Yongcheonru, the largest guesthouse in Joseon, which operates under the motto "The guest is king." It follows the young interns — Lee Eun Ho (Bae In Hyuk), Hong Deok Su (Kim Ji Eun), Chun Jun Hwa (Jung Gun Joo), and Go Soo Ra (Park Jae Chan) — who begin to work there for their own personal reasons. 

On November 21, Channel A released a teaser showcasing the characters' charms and personalities. It begins with introducing the "Gang of Four Buts," who always say "But" whenever they speak.

First is Prince Lee Eun, who is seeking permission from the king to conceal his identity and join Yongcheonru as an intern.

However, his sharp charisma takes a humorous turn as he becomes utterly helpless in front of his colleague, Hong Deok Su, revealing his clumsy side. Next is Hong Deok Su, who appears dressed in a traditional Korean man's clothing, confidently proclaiming, "A man never backs down from a challenge." She is a woman disguised as a man, having joined Yongcheonru for some reason. To avoid revealing her true identity, she constantly has to prove her "manhood." Her declaring, "Trust in me!" while tapping her arm in front of her colleagues, shows her efforts to convince others of her fake identity.

Next is Chun Jun Hwa, the heir to Yongcheonru. As the heir to Joseon's most prestigious guesthouse, his elegant attire and refined demeanor set him apart. However, like the rest of the members, he is merely an intern. Despite his privileged background, he genuinely seems to enjoy the life of an intern.

Lastly, Go Soo Ra is introduced, brimming with determination as he declares, "I've spent my entire life running toward success at Yongcheonru."

Driven by a mission to rebuild his family, he pours all his passion into achieving success at the guesthouse. His promise, "Everyone will pass. I, Go Soo Ra, guarantee it."

The scene shifts to show the group immersed in their work at Yongcheonru, doing various tasks such as laundry, peeling onions, and sewing. As a voice-over narration asks, "How come such lowly individuals end up in such a noble place?" the teaser raises anticipation for the youths' journey to prove their worth.

Check in Hanyang will premiere on December 21. The K-drama will be available to stream on Viki. Watch the teaser here.
