Good news to all Lee Dong Wook fans! Lee Dong Wook (My Girl, Wild Romance) has been joined the new upcoming MBC drama "Hotel King". He will be playing the role of an emotionally cold, perfectionist hotelier who has daddy issues. No seriously, he dislikes his father for abandoning him and his mother just to seek out his own success.
Hotel King's writer is none other than Jo Eun-Jung (Feast of the Gods, Golden Fish). The director of the drama would be Kim Dae Jin (Just Like Today).
Hotel King is currently in the process of casting the rest of the cast, including its female lead. If all goes smoothly, it will air in March.
In other Lee Dong Wook news, Park Joo Mee will be costarring with him as the leads of the new SBS drama special, Kang Koo's Story. It will only be two episodes. Its plot is:
"Kyung-Tae (Lee Dong-Wook) is cold-blooded and thought to be good-for-nothing. In order to take care of his dead friends sister(, and her son Kang Koo), he goes to Yeongdeok. While taking care of them both, he eventually falls in love with Moon-Sook - who of course, is sick. "Are Hotel King and Kang Koo's Story on your list?
