Story: We see the formation of the team of criminals, who's job it is to hunt down other criminals. But they are so much more than just emotionless murderers, only there to blindly throw punches and laugh in the face of danger. I have never felt such a connection to characters who have done such bad things! Lee Jung Moon (played fantastically by Park Hae Jin) was my absolute favourite character, he initially comes across as a evil killer but over time as his story develops you see he isn't the cruel psychopath that he seems to be. Honestly i cried more times for him than anyone else, his story is in my opinion the most gripping , you'll have to watch to see why! Jung Tae Soo was also one of my favourites, you see so clearly the guilt he feels for his actions, he's badass and skilled but under all that he really wants what's best. Park Woong Cheol is also a cool guy, alway able to fight his way out of a bad situation and he too is deeply rooted in the criminal world, at one point you see how desperate he is to be normal and that really broke my heart. And finally Oh Goo Tak, always seems drunk and is only set on revenge for his daughter. We really get to see how much his daughter has effected him and even though he does some bad things you cant help but feel sympathetic.
The female officer was annoying at times, but she wasn't so bad that she ruined the whole thing.
Really there are so many twists and turns, every episode builds on the previous events and just when you think you understand something else is thrown in! The characters are built almost perfectly, i cant really flaw them and even if there was a hole it wasn't too detrimental to the overall plot. There were some great action scenes, emotional moments and great chemistry between the whole team (especially Jung Moon, Woong Cheol and Tae Soo, their protectiveness for him was so heartwarming!) , i couldn't ask for more.
Acting/cast: As you probably will guess, i cant say a single bad thing. The cast is picked perfectly, each character feels so real and its all down to the fantastic acting. Park Hae Jin completely embodies the psychopath character, his expressions are perfect, the more i watched him the more pity i felt, he puts across so much with so little words. Ive never watched Hae Jin before but after this i will definitely be watching his other dramas.
The other two criminals are so well played, Ma Dong Seok is super good in his role like usual, ive also never seen Jo Dong Hyuk (well currently in 'Rugal' but nothing else), ill take a look at his work too.
Really kudos to whoever put together the cast, they really found the perfect actors/actresses for the job!
Music: Suited the scenes and really helped add suspense, great!
Rewatch value: like all dramas they're not the same after the first watch. I think i will probably come back to this, simply because of how invested i became in the main 4 characters and their stories.
I really cannot recommend Bad Guys enough, i don't think i can put into words how much i enjoyed it! I will be telling as many people about it as possible, and as its on Netflix i really hope people will give it a chance. I must thank everyone involved with this drama, it was absolutely thrilling start to finish, and so so hard to stop watching. This is my first drama in a while after taking a break and i'm in awe, i feel like i'm mourning having to finish Bad Guys.
Im a bit disappointed we haven't got a second season with the original cast seeing as this was so good, heres hoping they'll do one soon! Thank you, this really was a masterpiece :)

Korean violence censorship at its funniest
This was actually such a fun time (until the end what was that????) Like I love the White Collar/Leverage-esque concept as always <33 And you really can't go wrong with Ma Dongseok (who's incredible in this by the way like I adored his character.) The plot for the most part is fun, it's this traumatized cop rounding up violent criminals to help him solve crimes and the main protagonist was actually such an interesting character like the scenes where it would go to the flashbacks with his daughter to his empty, lifeless state in the present was CHILLING. And ofc my crime found family's dynamic is also so fun, I love the minor details of their characterizations. Like how Ma Dongseok's character was a gang leader so whenever he tries to solve the crime he just pulls together a group of cronies and impulsively barges right into the problem (and is usually right like give this man more credit!!!) And then there's the hitman who will analyze the scene and think about how he would've pulled it off and is very analytical and smooth about it- everything about him, his appearance, his mannerisms, his speech- it's all very to the point and smooth. And then there's Park Haejin's character who just kinda zones out and is super OP? Idk but good for him. Idk i really enjoyed all of those characters and I actually enjoyed the writing on them and all the minor details, which is something that doesn't happen often for me when I watch an OCN drama. And the individual cases and how they got solved was also really fun. But idk... something about the plot as a whole and the main character's own vengeance based path didn't sit well with me. Also I'm sorry but why did they make the one female character so annoying??? Like she was just unnecessary first of all and it just felt like they were just shoving her in there just to have a female character? Why wasn't one of the 'bad guys' a woman or something instead of giving us this annoying character who really did nothing. Also my favorite thing about this show is how unintentionally morbidly hilarious it is. Like hitman going into detail about how he dismembered the woman he liked's husband right to her face was the funniest thing I watched last year. WHO JUST SAYS THAT???????????? Like I agree she deserved to know that he was the one who killed her husband but my man was going into unnecessary detail FOR NO REASON??? Idk it was funny to me for no reason. And then there was the part where they blurred out the bloody organs so all you can see is a bag of blurred blood. Which that also shouldn't have been funny but for some reason it took me out.

The GOOD: The best thing about this drama is the 4 main actors. Each actor portrays a different kind of bad guy with an exceptional talent that makes him a valuable asset to a special undercover crime fighting team led by a down and out cop played by Kim Sang Joong. He is great as always. These actors really make you buy into the coolness of their characters. They all have a pretty major dark side, but you just want to see them kick ass. And Bad Guys delivers a lot of slick well choreographed fight scenes where you get to watch them do that over and over and over again. The story moves at a fast pace . Each character's backstory is compelling enough to give the story some heart. I sympathize with these guys and hope they find some redemption.
The BAD: The plot is alright, but there are lots of frustrating scenes where a character behaves in a way that makes me want to just shake him. Several times a character will know a piece of information that would help everyone out but for no explicable reason except to prolong the conflict, they say nothing. There are several things that really don't make much sense, but you just have to go with it because it creates conflict and provides an excuse for another cool fight scene. It's not unbearably bad, but if there were less of those kind of moments in this drama I would rate it higher.

Action is a tough one to get right, every move has to be carefully rehearsed or it'll seem fake and I spotted collections of minor mistakes not only in fighting scenes but after, concearning the results of the prior encounters and what not. Alas, since I'm more about acting than action, I overlooked it. Yes. The story is that good!
As for the acting, I feel like Hae Jin could've done a lot better (not that he did bad, at all!). He has huge potential and I'm such a lover girl for that man but the psycho there... didn't really feel it. Seems like he's grumpy all the time with that emo hair of his but what can we do? His pouty perfect lips cooperate to that impression. Not much he can do about that. The others were magnificent apart from that dull detective. They couldn't have picked a worse actress (if we can call her an actress, that is). The damn woman doesn't speak, she murmurs in a sexy voice throughout the whole show and shows no expression at all, no matter what she's going through. Oh, my bad, she does seem ready to burst in tears all the time, I'll give her that. The show could've gone a lot better without her. Now I must praise Kim Sangjoong for his art... really. In his most emotional scenes I was torn between crying and smiling because he's just too good I was overwhelmed.
I never pay much attention to music unless it's a complete turn off or turn on. It was okay, I suppose? Can't say for sure and rewatch value... I'm never 100% willing to rewatch anything with all those new dramas popping up from left and right and that's it. I recommend this drama to everyone. It's refreshing to escape those corny comedy/romance ones that are mass produced. Oh, and one bit of advice, never seek too much of accuracy in fictional productions. You'll miss all the entertainment and end up with a headache. It's called fiction for a reason.

STORY:
> there are holes in the story but there will always be in every film/drama (in my case that is) but that doesn't make Bad Guys any less awesome.
> The lines are well written and smartly.
> the story is great.
ACTING/CAST:
Come on, do I need to tell you? The cast is amazing. The acting is superb. Kim Sang Joong, is great in every moment. I have to love Park Hae Jin, I will never watch at these guys the same again.
MUSIC:
Well, since its a crime action thriller, not much to say but it was good. The ending song is good.
Re-watch VALUE:
I will definitely re-watch this. Maybe peek on some episodes from time to time.
When you're going to watch this, make sure you're on your wits and ready to understand and absorb everything because every scene is vital.

So many twists that keeps you wondering till the very end. A deep concept about criminals and if normal people can turn to be physco in special circumstances
I've never watched suspense drama like that before.
DEFINITELY WATCH IT :-)

bad Guys=good guys
This drama I like because it is a real action drama but with interesting idea and characters you want to see how they develop and also there is no romance diverting from the story・ the woman detective is treated equally and she plays an interesting contribution to the story〜I was puzzled by Jun Moon [Park Haee Jin] role in this drama as he is supposed to be this great genius but what was he contributing? but suddenly I see in episode 8 what his role is in this drama〜still I am disappointed he did not contribute more to this drama but I definitely felt the most for him〜still it is a great Korean drama of this type and the plot of the story is so well put together ・ the fights were in the great tradition of totally unreal odds with the heroes winning・ the trust in each other came out in episode 10 and 11 in a very dramatic turn of the story〜I was never bored during this drama and finished it very quickly〜 what a great action drama!and would join one of few I could watch again in futureCet avis était-il utile?
As someone who's a pussy when it comes to gory crime scenes, I only gave 9 to Rewatch Value. But if watching murder scenes doesn't scare you, you can easily rewatch this drama, though it probably won't be as exciting. Other than that, this show was perfect. It had a unique plot, so unique that I sometimes felt manipulated into believing something and then slapped with some other truth later. I love that Bad Guys kept me on my toes and left me wanting more but satisfied when it ended.
The cast was perfect. There are only a few core characters and our dog squad is really the heart of the story. I love that even though they started independent of each other, they eventually became a real team. The bickering between Ung Cheol and Tae Su, Ung Cheol's protectiveness towards Jeong Mun, I love those. PHJ as a psychopath -- boom! Granted, he's probably the most good looking psychopath out there but man, he just nails it every single time. This guy's really good at playing dark, misunderstood roles (which is why I'm still disappointed with the CitT production team).
At 11 episodes, Bad Guys was packed with intense action, thrill, twists and turns, and drama. Perhaps, 11 episodes was too short to fit it all in but that, in a way, is also the reason why it didn't drag. Every episode is a wealth of story and there's no dull moments. There is clamor for a second season, and I'd love that but only if we get the same cast. Otherwise, I don't think it would be as good.
