Both Male Leads act a lot alike. Also they both go back and forth between love and hate relationship.

The premise is the same. A couple for some reason or another breaks up and then the man starts a business and becomes successful. The woman then begins working at the company and the exes have to interact and come to terms with things from their past. The main difference is that Cunning has a way more light hearted feel and there are more funny moments.

Yae, an unremarkable girl working in a café and living with a friend, finds herself unable to afford rent when her friend suddenly gets married, and she loses her job in the same day! It’s only when her boyfriend dumps her that she finally hits rock bottom.

She’s at her wits’ end when her childhood friend Takumi suddenly reappears into her life. Takumi suggests that Yae take on a part-time job as his “fake wife” for the next six months. He has his reasons for wanting people to think he’s married. Yae has no other choice but to accept his proposal, and in return receives housing and living expenses for playing the role of his “fake wife.”

So begins a “fake marriage” with a time limit. Unbeknownst to Yae, she was Takumi’s first love, even though she thinks of him as nothing more than a childhood friend. Takumi struggles awkwardly but earnestly to win Yae’s heart and find true love. Even though their marriage starts as a sham, will the day come when this couple can become something more?

Both FL are hard working, smart and deep down very nice, but they come accross as ambitious and disingenuous. They're willing to be the bad guy if it can help their ex move on. In both drama, they are in a love triangle between a hardworking guy and his younger "brother" who is a heir, which makes the guy's relationship harder. In both shows the FL is humble and determined, willing to take crap from her superiors, but she also knows when to stand up for herself.

It is not exactly the same...actually quite different but still gives similar vibes.
Both are second chance romance.
Both leads work in the same office.
Love triangle
Male leads later realize how female leads also had to make so many sacrifices and recognize their faults as well.
Happy Ending

My favorite thing about both shows is not simply the Candy FL, but rather the slow realization from the ML that all of his thoughts about the FL are biased and wrong.
If you loved all the scenes with Lee Seung Gi feeling guilty, then try this one too.

In the same vein, I also recommend Thirty But Seventeen and I second someone else's recommendation for Stars Falling from the Sky
