Cozy everyday lives of four brothers

If you love slice-of-life stories, this might be a good show for you.

Follow four adorable brothers as they navigate life, support each other, face conflicts, and grow stronger together, alongside the people around them.

I appreciated how each actor, although they had a somewhat different aura compared to their anime counterpart, truly portrayed each character in their own unique styles, making it feel more realistic. However, there were a few minor exceptions.

Although I found the story to be generally enjoyable, there were a few aspects that left me feeling slightly disappointed. While the inclusion of fantasy elements and the interweaving of multiple side stories added complexity to the narrative, I felt that some of these elements were unnecessary and detracted from the overall coherence and pacing of the story.

Overall, despite its minor flaws, the heartfelt performances and compelling character dynamics make this series worth watching for me.

KAWAII, KAWAII, KAWAII !!

KAWAII, KAWAII, KAWAII !! Thats the only word i can think of while watching every single minute of this drama. Its pure wholesomeness on another level. Every time i finished an episode, my heart felt so full and i instantly craved more. After finishing drama i have never wanted a new season of a drama this badly before.

The story follows the everyday lives of the Yuzuki family’s four sons capturing their small adventures in episodes that are only 15 minutes long. With 32 episodes in total, it amounts to about 8 hour long episodes. Each storyline spans one or two episodes and every one of them is packed with heartwarming, feel good moments and incredibly lovable characters.

What’s especially wonderful about this show is that there is not a single negative character. Along with the Yuzuki family, their neighborhood family also play a significant role in their lives and they are equally adorable. The bonds between these families are incredibly sweet and heartwarming.

The three younger brothers of Hayato are so adorable that i found myself wishing i had younger siblings like them!! Hayato, the eldest is a responsible 23 yr old schoolteacher taking care of his three younger brothers. Mikato, the second brother is the cleverest and most intelligent, while Minato, the third is the most outgoing, outspoken and mischievous. Surprisingly the youngest brother, Gokuto is the most mature of them all.

My favorite moments are when Minato, the third brother dotes on Gokuto and Mikato, the second brother, gets jealous. Mikato loves Minato a lot, they are only 11 months apart but his affection for his third brother is truly heartwarming. He even sees his youngest brother Gokuto as a rival because Minato adores Gokuto so much.

This drama is my TOP RECOMMENDATION OF THE YEAR!! Watch it if you are in the mood for something wholesome and heartwarming.

I wish I could rate this adorable show higher than 10.

10/10

Im definitely going to rewatch episodes of this drama whenever i feel down.

Along with this drama, Kotaro Lives Alone on Netflix is also super adorable. This is my second jdrama of a similar genre and i really wish they would produce more shows like this.

Light, soothing, slice-of-life

This is an absolute gem among family-themed series. It's feel-good, light and easy to watch on a hectic day with its short 15-minute episodes.

Let me highlight some of the things I loved:
* I am most impressed by the child actors. It's no simple feat for a child to portray a character so consistently as they do.
* I love that the two families are not your picture-book families (Mum, dad and their two kids). One is a family of four boys, who live their lives without parents, the other consists of a divorced mother with her two kids who live with their grandfather. Both families are shown as full of love for one another, as they navigate typical problems with school, growing-up, parenting etc.
* While it might not be very common that four boys continue living with each other after their parents passed away, the difficulties in the drama are real-life problems that most of us have had at one time or another -- I think viewers of all ages can find something to relate to here. Problems are always resolved by good communication and assuming that the other person acted not out of malice but well-intentioned.
* While most of the episodes lean into a more comedic style, and there's plenty to laugh (with the characters, never at them) -- the loss of the brothers' parents is not once taken lightly. There were several scenes that made me cry.
* All of the recurring characters are fleshed out, with their own story to tell -- and they are accepted the way they are by the others.

In some episodes, you can clearly see the manga heritage -- there are a few that are more supernatural in nature, which some viewers might find jarring, and there are some episodes that are clearly over-the-top.

I admit, at first, I wasn't too enthused that this is another drama about four male characters -- but after a time I noticed that a) there are more than enough well-rounded female characters with their own story, b) with a girl in the family some dynamics would have changed, and not for the better, and c) it takes the opportunity to gently subvert gender tropes. The oldest brother takes on household chores (cooking, cleaning etc.) willingly, and does them really well without outside help, and the younger borther pitch in. Except for one instance, nobody doubts that a man can care for his younger siblings. The divorcee neighbour is a police officer and while she is at work, her father cares for the kids (and the youngest brother).

Overall, this is a gentle and soothing series, perfect to watch if you need something that makes you feel happy.

Something new in the air is always good! ?

The 1st episode was amazing. As a fan of the original work, I felt really happy with the care that the team responsible took with the characterization a of the scenarios, history and characters. The cast's performance It's very good and I believe the actors were chosen perfectly! It's a work that I will definitely continue watching until the end. <33
