this was an amazing special episode for the “You are Mine” series.

it was so dang cute and I’m pretty sure I now have a toothache with how sweet this was. I was grinning from ear to ear the whole time.

I’d been looking forward to the special for months once I found out they were doing them for the series and I was not disappointed.

I adore we got to see their relationship progress, and it aligned so well with the story.

my heart is so full. if you loved the series you will for sure also love this added episode. I just want more of their story, this was so unbelievably loving an so well done. the perfect end to their story ❤️❤️❤️

what a special episode should be

Overall: we had 27 minutes of new content that was a progression of their story and fluff which is exactly what I was looking for in a special episode. Available on GagaOOLala & Viki (country dependent).

What I Liked
- sweet/fluff moments
- intimacy/physical affection
- styling
- continuation of their story

Room For Improvement
- the 2 cringey fall, catch and awkward holds
- some of the camerawork felt low budget/shaky
- needed the production to include the 2 characters at the end into the special's intro sequence to refresh viewers' memories, per the review comment they are the cousin/colleague and the driver from the series, I'm likely not the only person who had no idea who they were so their appearance felt random

A lot better than the drama

Unlike the drama this was actually really good, not so bad it is good but actually good.

The actors have great chemistry, great character development this sweet playfullness around them and probably some of dramalands best kisses.

They even seem to heave learned acting between the drama and the special, or just gotten better directin. Whatever they did with this it worked.

So if you can make it tough the drama do not miss out on this! Heck why not skip the drama and just go for this... but then again completing the drama to then receive this reward probably feels a lot better.

Fan Service Done Right

Now this is how you do fan service! Absolutely sweet and adorable added episode that I wish all series, BL or not, would tag onto the end for a nice fan service. (Oh, only series with happy endings! Unless they were sad endings and the xtra episode would make it happy!? )

BTW, I love the new look for our MLs. Their hair styles are awesome. And the tuxes were gorgeous.

Yes, the series itself maybe was a little problematic, the one ML was a huge walking talking red flag, but damn if I didn't love it anyhow. Lots of cringe but also lots of heat makes this a fun little gem to watch. And it's short so won't take up your entire weekend.

Give it a try. I'm going to go rewatch the rest of the series now ?

One of the few special episodes with a true ending of the story.
Yes, they did repeat the cringy nearly fall of the first epsisode but who cares :)
The actors did have a much better chemistry through this episode compared to the rest of the series, the kisses did feel genuine, nothing felt awkward between them.

This episode made me very happy and if you like some fluff you should defenitivly watch it. If you have not watched the series, you should do that as well. While the story is not earth-shattering it's at least cute and the production was very well made.

Was the end scene a spoiler for a new series? We can hope :)

La vd que desconocía por completo que la serie contaba con episodio especial (al igual que las otras 3) y mira que ver de nuevo a Xia Shang Zhou y a Yao Shun Yu fue bien bonito pq la verdad me quede con ganas de ver mas de ellos, y ps este cap es hermoso, segun yo a pasado 1 año de los sucesos de la serie, y en si todo es hermoso, lo único es que nomas avisaron pero me falto la escena de la boda, me hubiera encanto con locura ver la boda de ellos:)
Según yo aquí no hay ningún cameo de alguna de las otras series.
Tmb al final se nos da a entender que puede haber algo entre Li Hui Wang y Xiao Yang que la vd no me molesta ojala y les hagan su historia/serie y veamos mas cameos de otros protas y sigan expandiendo es mundillo de 4 series que tienen.

A special episode that was worth watching

I just say theirs not much to talk about 1 episode with 27 minutes, but it actually showed a whole entire ending for this show instead of making people go crazy waiting for an update on Shun Yu and Shang Zhou.

All it basically showed was their after story of You are mine and where it left off with when Shang Zhou quit his company and went to go join Shun Yu’s mom’s breakfast shop. I really liked Shun Yu’s mom because even though she was a little rude to Shang Zhou it was only to show if they would actually make a perfect couple because she’s concerned about Shun Yu which is reasonable. It showed Shun Yu and Shang Zhou being a “model” for a gay couples wedding photos, but it was actually for
theirs. Shang Zhou proposed to Shun Yu and of course he accepted it and they literally kissed for about 5 minutes and then we saw Hui Wang taking photos of them from the proposal to the kissing, but Xiao Yang was their and felt single so Hui Wang asked if he would be okay dating a man, and we never heard from them again. I would like another special episode just to see what happens to Hui Wang and Xiao Yang, but other than that this special episode was worth it.

LOVE IT!

So, I’m a little behind on this drama (I just discovered) but at the same time, I’m glad I was behind it so I can just bench it…lol. It was a great emotional roller coaster and this ending, OMG, this special ending is definitely the cherry on the top.

I think is very important to let you know that it does have a happy ending and with the special, it really brought everything together. I wish in a way, that they make a second part, but at the same time, the way it ended was perfect. I’m not sure why people on MyDramaList are so negative on everything. They can see the best Drama of their lives and they will still give it a 7. If you go to Viki (another website), you will find a more accurate rating. But don’t take my word, watch the show and let me know ?.

As viewers, what can we ask of a Special Episode?

We would ask precisely for the incredible closure that the cast and creators of 'You Are Mine Special' have given us.
This is the perfect ending to the 2023 Taiwanese drama 'You are Mine', as it delves deeper into the relationship between Yao Shun Yu (Hsiao Hung) and Xia Shang Zhou (Parker Mao).
And yet I ask for more of the love story between the director of the Xia company and the boy who becomes the company's new employee.
It is not surprising that it reaches a rating of 8.1 points on MDL and other platforms.
But this episode has the added bonus that, in addition to the audience being able to witness the evolution of this couple of lovers after the events narrated in the series, it has also served to give the possible beginning of the romance between Xiao Yang (Bobo Luo) and Li Hui Wang (Yorke Sun).
Surely we will see them as the main couple of some series in the near future, and I have no doubt that Hsiao Hung and Parker Mao would be there again in that case to play the characters that have summoned us here.

He vuelto con esta serie!!

Para nadie es secreto que la serie no me gusto, aunque este especial, me gusto mas que la misma serie, tiene algo que no se, me engancho mas, aunque no todo es perfecto, siento que hubo algo completamente innecesario en este especial, y fue que formaron una pareja en un segundo de serie, y obvio sin desarrollo, no le vi la razón de ser a esto... sn esa escena hubiera quedado hasta mejor.

En fin, solo diré que disfrute mas el ep especial que la misma serie.

Ojo: si deseas ver este especial ve a ver la serie, si no, no entenderás nada de nada....
