Masterpiece ,seated till the end❤️

Enjoying this series so much that I want more YinWar,I m obsessed with them since love mechanic
STORY - it's thriller drama with some romance with unpredictable and unexpected twist in plot.here jack(yin) was innocent ,cute and poor and have debt from boss from his parents who died,he was a taekwondo player and wanted to select as nationalist but minister's son got that place and joker(war) was a thief and mastermind who steal from corrupt people and help poor but his father wants him to be a doctor (bcoz their family was doctor), at bar they met and share their stories and then at bank which joker was about to steal (jack was there for loan to open a taekwondo school) joker give him loan easily but then police arrest jack for illegal money when joker knew he surrender to police and sentenced for 5 years but due to this situation jack has to work for boss as debt collector , after 5 years joker came from jail and apologized to jack and feel guilty but jack now is totally different after 5 years,jack don't want to see joker face and hate him very much bcoz his life become like hell bcoz joker made him fool , Joker will be forgiven or not? When a person in debt they have to do things they don't want to, and sometimes being selfish but they don't have much options bcoz they also want a free life once ,some things I actually feel is about real issues in our society,It's a story,I swear I didn't get bored for even a sec ,it's a rollercoaster of emotions thrilled+ sad +funny+romance+happy 😊 and I watched it completely in one day and night and think that jack and joker both are right from their POV so don't feel sorry for Joker,bcoz jack love him so much and care about him
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Tattoo - I love this character development,he was a in debt under boss and wanted to live freely once so help joker to steal from boss,he is selfish and betrayed them many times bcoz he didn't want that life anymore but he is good in technical stuff and has a good side too ,he was poor but still help Arun to share room with him , after some ep I started to like his character
Hoy - he is so cute ,innocent and dumb person,But Sometimes he is more intelligent than others and talk meaningful,when tattoo betrayed and try to run away he refuses to go with him ,I think he has a chemistry with fortune teller😍at shrine
Hope - he is a bad guy look who work for boss and beat up people who didn't pay debt ,at first I thought he was cruel but he was loyal towards his work
Arun - he is boss son ,he has ego and attitude towards others but when his father leave him,tattoo helped him and share the room,after every episode I started to like him bcoz he was also kind hearted and helpful and I think he liked tattoo too😉 I love tattoo and Arun chemistry too
Grandma- she was old but stronger than joker 😂she was like a "action women " when she fight with boss people she was so cool
ACTING - all cast and actors did a brilliant job to portray the action,drama, emotions and romance,all things looked so natural
YINWAR CHEMISTRY - I was going crazy when see them just kissing 😍 my heartbeat was so fast and theirs chemistry was insane I like each and every scens especially when Jack teach joker english " CONFESS, PROMISE, LOVE" it looked like a confession And I was blushing seeing them even they were just standing close only
I like that gang of tattoo+Arun+Hoy+hope of plan ABCD, they looked cute in plan A 😂 but failed all plan to stop boss
I love intro music 🎵🎶 too and other OST too ,I like everything about this series it's new and fresh and nice acting with good cinematography
I want to thank director, assistant director,writer, production team ,cast team, editing team and whole jack and joker team to made such a unique BL drama I really appreciate it and please made more of YinWar projets please bcoz I Miss them already ❤️

once I saw that this series is yinwar's I immediately wanted to watch it and suddenly surprised that it already has 5 episodes released, watching the first episode and second I slowly started losing hope bc I'm not a fan for this sadness and actually I thought that the hobby of Jack that's Taekwondo doesn't make sense to the plot of the series and many complicated thoughts (I didn't like Jack's hairstyle in the first episode😅) but I gave it a chance until ep 4/5 I literally got chills that joke stole Jack's ring from boss just to let him free if I was jack I'd immediately love joke whatever he did to me in the past doesn't matter now, I thought that once joke gives back the ring to Jack it will be a lovely dovey moment but when Jack replied harshly to joke I CUSSED HIM IN MY MIND LIKE EH MAN JUST START CHU CHU HIM, fans needs some romance🤭

Just Brilliant

This was so enjoyable, you can ignore the imperfections, the actors, the acting, the story, which is about the unfairness of life, wealth and poor , but also being determined to grow no matter where you come from.


All couples where great, it was nice there was already a couple who make it work. Everybody was great. You even kind of feel sorry for Boss in the end and he was horrible.
The kiss when in the middle of danger was beautiful, real and needed.

The little girl was bearable and cure.

(Well done everyone, I never rewatch anything, but i would this. Be proud you made a gem and you all where so wonderful)

I JUST CAN'T EXPRESS MY LOVE FOR THIS SERIES..😭💗✨ I STARTED WATCHING THIS SERIES WHEN 3 EPISODES WERE RELEASED..AND YOU DON'T KNOW I LITERALLY GOT HOOKED I WATCHED ALL 3 EPISODES IN ONE NIGHT..IT WAS THAT DAMN GOOD..I KNOW IT'S A SLOWBURN DRAMA..BUT ATLEAST YOU GUYS WILL NOT SUFFER LIKE WE ONGOING VIEWERS WERE DOING..THERE WERE MANY TRAUMAS AND SAD MOMENT..I SCREAMED IN LIKE EVERY EPISODES AND THEY FIANNLY DID IN EP 9😭💪..AND MY REACTION AT THAT MOMENT,YOU CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE...I WAS LITERALLY GOING INSANE AND SCREAMING SO MUCHHH😭😭OH GOD MY TRAUMA DIDN'T END THERE ALSO IN EP 11 THEY HAD TO BREAK UP..MY HEART WAS BROKEN AGAIN..BUT THE SERIES DID NOT DISSAPOINT ME..ALTHOUGH THERE WAS SOME UNNECESSARY DRAMA AT THE LAST FEW EPISODES..BUT DON'T GIVE UP...I PROMISE IT'S WORTH THE PATIENCE..💪💗BECAUSE THIS SERIES IS PURE LOVE AND WARMTH..THOSE HEART FLUTTERING MOMENTS ARE GONNA MAKE YOU BLUSH HARDD😭 MY FAV CHARACTER APART FROM JACK AND JOKER WAS GRANDMA..SHE WAS SUPPORTIVE ND CARING THROUGHOUT THE SERIES..I LOVED HER SO MUCHH💗✨ANYWAYS *AT THE LAST I WANNA SAY THIS SERIES IS DAMN GOOD AND WORTH YOUR GREAT PATIENENCE*ANYWAYS THANK YOU 💗

Sweet and frustrating slow burn

I don’t even know where to start or even HOW to start. This series was so frustratingly good that I was crying, aweing, and punching my wall all at the same time.

Things I Liked:
Casting - The casting was really perfect for every single character. I feel like you couldnt switch a single one of the actors for one another and have as great of a show as this. My biggest thumbs up for casting is YinWar. I was a little hesitant to watch this show bc I'd never watched anything with them, but now I absolutely need to see more of them. Their chemistry is actually insane and their acting may be even better, which leads me into my next point...
Acting - When I say I could FEEL the characters' emotions, I genuinely mean it, and I certainly don't say that lightly. If Joke felt upset, I could feel it in my gut, making me want to cry myself. If Jack was worried, so was I in the strongest way possible. And please don't even get me started on the mc's kissing scenes, like I could feel their desperation for each other, I was actually going insane during these scenes.
Full circle - My biggest pet peeve is when a story leaves me with questions or doesn't wrap up loose ends, yet this story didn’t at all. Everything was wrapped up in a tight little bow, even down to a character 5 years in the past.

Things I Didn't Like:
SLOW BURN - When people say this series has slow burn, do not take it lightly at all. I'm not necessarily gonna say I didn’t like the series for this reason, but it was certaintly annoying, especially because it really hit mid way through after the mc had made good progress.
(SPOILER) Weird Love Triangle - This was the most annoying thing in this show and I will stand by that. I wanted to hit everybody, especially Jack and Rosé because 1, stop making decisions for other people and 2, get the freaking hint. Rosé was genuinely such a sweet girl, but god, she was obnoxious for a good 5 or 6 episodes and Jack was just as obnoxious and lowkey rude during those episodes. Was it necessary? I suppose, but it still had my blood boiling, which I guess may have been the point.
Miscommunication - My absolute 2nd biggest pet peeve. If Jack and Joke had talked about stuff before actually doing it, half the events in the show would've never happened, which obviously would've ruined the point of the show, but still, it was aggravating. Y'all are grown adults making promises that you can't talk out to actually keep.

Overall: As much as I complained about plot ideas, I think they rounded out the show and made Jack and Joke's moments together all the more special. I didn't ever think that there was a scene that was unnecessary because they all built up to build true perfection. I'm not sure if another bl will be able to top this one, but I will certianly look forward to more Yinwar series

The first thai bl in years I have been invested in

Yinwar is single-handedly the industry we all cheered😞 If you're like me and read reviews for highly praised thai bls or start bls that are promoted all over your fyp and drop pretty much all of them cause the plot doesn't engage you or the acting/writing is just too far gone from your standards of the amount of cringe or disrespect you'll allow as viewer, YOU AIN'T GOTTA WORRY NO MORE. Know I say this without previously being a fan of Yinwar or knowing their past projects but they deliver in every scene. The plot is brilliantly entertaining and carefully thought out arcs like the first three episodes is one arc, it's so simple but at the end of the day I need good writing along with representation. I am completely in love with War, his character is so charismatic and his eyes are so expressive.I love that in an angsty bottom. Yin completely sells me on Jack and his motives and morals, it's amazing to see moments where his persona breaks. Since I discovered thai bls a couple of years ago I watched a handful of good ones and have been disappointed time and time again I took a break and Jack and Joker pulled me back in. All I can wish for is that you give this show a chance like I did cause I can guarantee you'll stick around. My only regret is watching this show when three episodes so I have to keep coming back every week lol. I fear I must watch their other bls to sustain myself. I am so excited for what comes next.

Fresh air in 2024 BL era. Looking raw outside, but actually not.

Jack & Joker might be a one of the most awaited BL for 2024. Yin and War will served us by their talent again on screen in this year and we all really anticipate with their another artwork.

Disclaimer, i'm not in Yinwar fandom but i watch Love Mechanics and i don't really eyeing for that one. But Yin and War ability in acting is no joke and they are super talented.

I will give you my opinion based on 5 important things that should be in a good series. Plot, Acting, Cinematography, Music and Setting.

Plot:
+ Jack and Joke is a WELL WRITTEN characters. The characters has layers and depth of emotions, it makes both of main lead are shining. Jack written as a good boy with tragic background family somehow related to how fucked up background family that Joke has. It's all connected in interesting way, and ended being a good harmony of chemistry. The simple details of both Jack and Joke characters interwined their bond and make them super related to each other, like yin and yang, but in very human and realistic way. The wr⁸iters really put so much effort to make both of the main lead slowly building their bond without any rush. It's blended perfectly and smoothly, very satisfying.

+ The big idea? SO GOOD. A love story with slowburn paced between a very human characters and an anti hero. The main lead as anti hero is rare to find in Thai BL so this is very genius. Story paced are normal, not too rush, but not too slow. But there's a disadvantage of how the "Big Idea" will deliver in just 12 eps.

- THE PLOT HOLES. Holy shit this almost ruining the fun of the story. ALL OF THE THINGS that maybe important aren't included in the story and i feel very uncomfortable with this. I will give you some point:

1. The way the writers forgot to give us a clue how Joker IS A REALLY BADDY THIEF. Like they not showing the flashback story of Joker is A BIG thief in underground circle, and not showing to us how he managed to be that baddy. After he imprisoned, he just walking casually to that underground area and getting attention. He being super populer underground for being anti hero isn't highlighted in a few first episodes. It make me wondering why they cut how people in underground are "idolizing" him as anti hero. This is very important part. Yeah i know it presented by just a dialogue in the series, but it is not satisfy me personally. I want a compact flashback with flamboyant vibes to introduces "JOKER".

2. That little story of Rose, Jack and Joker. It's fucking cringey i can't help that it was too embarrasing to watch.

3. The way Tattoo and his friend introduced. There's a lot of plot holes and their characters are not strong.

There's so many plot holes in 1 to 5 episode i can't tell you more. An illogical story that could be better if they have more episode/budget to make the story more realistic. Also, the unimportant and irrelevant comedy with bad timing. Ughh.

Rating for story: 7.5/10

Acting:
+We all agree that YinWar is one of the most talented actor in Thai BL industry. The quality of acting that they served to us is incredible. I have NO complaint at all for their chemistry, acting, mimic, micro expression on screen. They ate.

-Unfortunately, the acting of the support roles are doing otherwise. I don't expect that Mark Siwat's act are super rough and not delivering. His acting was super cringe idk why i think he need more strict director to lead him to play this role. Some of his dialogue are deliverd in a weird way, and his voice intonations is like a rookie. I don't like his acting in this one, but i hope he can gradually improving in the next project or in the next episode. Other than Siwat, is a super standard level of quality. Somehow it annoyed me, somehow isn't.

Rating for Acting: 7.5/10

Cinematography:
+It's very Thai BL classic. Not disturbing but not impressive. They shoot a good angle and their cut scene is smooth, no awkward cut scene and the transition from scene to scene are clear. Satisfying enough for me.
+Grading was good. It's on themed, not too greenish/sephia looks, but not too bright. It makes the vibes of the drama are on point. Good Job!

Rating for Cinematography: 8.5/10

Music Design:
+Ok. Just ok, no loud or disturbing music.
-Ugh personally i hate comedic sound in every Thai BL series.
-The OST are out of themed. I personally don't like it.

Rating for Music Design: 7/10

Setting/location/property:
+Everything looks good and believeable. Jack house are my favorite. The mansion of Boss are classic and i love the interior. I love the outdoor space, the parking lot, even the bar that Jack and Joke met for the first time.

Rating for Set: 9/10

So my total score for Jack&Joker; U Steal My Heart!:
7.9/10

It's worthy to give it a try.

CINEMA IS BACK!!!! THIS IS HOW IT IS DONE!!!!

THIS IS HOW YOU DO A SHOW!!! Acting *chef's kiss* , Story *chef's kiss* , Chemistry *chef's kiss*. They did not come to play with this series. Such a perfect balance of Action, Romance, Angst and Comedy. It's SOOO Good!!!! This show needs to be studied by people as an example on how to write a good BL show and how to execute it with perfection. THE STORY AND THE ACTING From the leads and all the other characters in itself will get you hooked to it. The emotions the characters portray without saying a word.. Especially War and Yin... OH I CANNOT PRAISE THEM ENOUGH!!!! And They chose such good actors for all the roles. Not a single one of the character feels like they are forcing out lines without completely feeling it. They are all so Natural. AND THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN YIN AND WAR!!!! HOW DO I EVEN BEGIN TO DESCRIBE HOW THEY MAKE ME FEEL!!! THEY ARE NOT EVEN IN THEIR ROMANCE PHASE in the show YET THE CHEMISTRY IS JUST OOZING OUT!!! They are a duo who were destined to be partnered up together. They complement each other so well.. It seriously is a treat to the eyes to see them act out their characters.

CINEMA IS BACK !!!

It's incredible when you watch a show with no expectations and end up falling in love with everything about it. I don't know how they will pay for my therapy because I’ve already had a few breakdowns watching it, and now I'm almost having an anxiety attack because there are still 6 days left until the new episode.

Wow, this is the best premiere of September and the second-best premiere of the year. I’ve never watched any BL from YINWAR before, but now I’m thinking about checking them out because, damn, what chemistry is this??? I was rolling in bed and smiling when they looked at each other, and when they both smiled, it was everything for me.

THE PROTAGONISTS!

WAR ( JOKE)

Starting with the War, wow, I’m floored by how he managed to convey so much emotion in just one episode. First-class acting; I cried with him when he asked, “Even saving a kidnapped woman isn’t enough to be proud of me?” I wanted to hug him and protect him from everything 😭 He’s truly a great actor, and his strongest point is definitely drama; he was born for it. The strongest moment was when he cried—none of the moments he spent with his family made him shed a tear.

YIN ( JACK )

I also just wanted to hug him. Both of them practically had the same fate, and just thinking that he’s going to stop being that sweet kid breaks my heart. One of my favorite scenes was with his grandmother; I could feel the maternal love between them. Another thing is how he’s changed; in this pilot, we saw him as more youthful, innocent, with a smile on his face like a sweet child. Now, in the next episode, we might see him in a darker light 😭

STORY

So far, it’s been great! Even in the first episode, many things happened without being vague or rushed—everything was just right. I don’t know how it will be from here on, and I really enjoy this feeling of being surprised by the story at any moment. But one thing I’m sure of is that I’m going to love this BL a lot.

OTHER CHARACTERS

Some of the cast members were introduced and did very well in terms of acting. Honestly, I don’t care—everything Deep Hub is incredible.

What I Hope For

The pace of the plot is excellent, and I hope it continues like this.
